12/12 - Heres to a new grow! I decided to combine the plants into as few diaries as possible. Its just alot of work to accurately update them each week. So I am running 16 strains this time and I will break them inot 2 diaries, as the cap for strains per diary is 8. Wish me luch!
12/29 - Two weeks into veg. Most are strong, but a few are runts for sure. Thats ok, runts have paid off for me before. Nothing remarkable to report. Surprised at the lack of vigor in a few of the strains that are reported to be very large strains. We will see.
1/7 - I am absolutely stumped. I am growing micro greens apparently. The only thing I can think of for the small stature is the peat pellets that I start them in. Since I started using them several grows ago, my plants have been miniature. Blue Diesel has grown large for me before and now its a bonsai tree. FML
1/15 - There has been some substantial growth over the last week. But Im afraid its going to be to little to late. Theres just not alot of mass to these. No longer going to use jiffy style peat pellets. I believe that the net around them is constricting the intitial root growth and giving the seedling the false impression that it is inside a tiny grow area. Since using these pellets, i have experienced very small plants with matching small harvest. Also, I will be going back to using coco with worm castings. Im sick of the fungus gnats that seem to plague me in soil grows. Back to basics and what has worked for me in the past. Not ready to point my finger at my nutes yet. I feel Green Rush is a safe and good product. However, I do feel that full strength feeds with them is required. While feeding at 1/4 strength I didnt see much reaction from the plants. I think it might be weak sauce!
