Used cup of water and after 24 hrs transferred to paper towel. 4 of 5 seeds are viable. When tap root was about 1/4", planted in Miracle Grow potting mix 12/16/22 and they popped above. soil 12/17/22 It is winter here so had a heating mat to keep the substrate warm to about 78 degrees. To keep heat constant and humidity levels high for seedlings, submerged plastic cups in larger plastic container with inch of water. LED grow light set at about 1/3 of max for 18/24 period.
Repotted the seedlings from 6 oz cups to quart containers. No signs of shock. Now on day 15 and has doubled in size in 3 days. Repotted to Fox Farm Oceans Soil.... still adding just plain distilled water.... no nutes needed yet..
Repotted again at 18 days as its getting too big for quart container. Going into final 5 gal container and will be topping once we get 5 to 6 nodes from current 3 nodes...
All 4 plants look good. One is a runt and may eliminate it but will see. Took plant #1 which look healthy and used it to mainline. The other two will wait to just top once or twice to grow normal. Still using filtered water no nutes.
