So I germinated 2 seeds and both came out great but had to use the wet paper towel trick to start and then into soil. Some BioBizz Light mix. Then watered in with rain water at room temp. Seeds took a long time to come above ground but arrived with a nice thick stalk!

So it's been a week after this little lady popped the soil. Nothing has been done apart from let it grow and watching the VPD. I gave it a little watering with some extra seed treatment solution, a little concoction that gives the seeding a little microbial booster and protection from any bad stuff. Now I'm happy she is a starter onto vegetation!

So first week has flown by! She has now popped out a few nodes and some side branches. Looking very healthy and some proper leaves coming through. Only a little watering to keep it from drying out and introducing a little calcium from the calmag and some fish mix full of goodies. Soon to be up potted for sure!

So what a week it has been! Gunna need some describing! So only a day after my last update she needed an up potting so I moved her up to a 12.5ltr pot this is the last stop before the final 120ltr living soil (SIP) sub irrigation planter. I took some of the soil out of my SIP and mixed it with the biobizz all mix 50/50 that was the soil I used to up pot into the 12.5 to get the plant use to the strength on the final containers soil. After that it's taken under a week for her roots to work through and be ready for her final container!! She is moving at a rate. Anyway I popped her into her final container I also used mykos to inoculate every time I up pot and use soil the same temperature to prevent root shock which is very important. I even found a couple of my tiger worms in the soil.... how they got there no Idea. I watered her into the final pot with a Seedling compost tea made to boost microbes and give it a little light nutrients. So finally when putting her into the final container I topped her. Risky move as I don't want too much stress but she can take it. Let's get moving! Sorry for the long update everything happened all at once!

So after a pretty stressful second week of veg we are now into week 3 and she is very happy! When I topped her the other week it was a genuine FIM and I didn't like how she was still trying to put energy into her top so I took the rest of the top out which then kicked all her energy into the side branches and new tops. She's got lovely chunky branches forming but staying very very compact! I have now pulled all the side branches out and done some LST. I've kept 8 branches and spread them equally plus 2 at the very top to cover the middle when it gets bigger. She is very happy in her soil. I forgot to mention I added some amendment spikes in the soil. Columns of nutrients that will break down slowly for the roots to find in time and keep her happy through all stages.

So during the 4th week of Veg we started the week by topping the main ends of the branches once we had a good base and they looked healthy enough. I LST by tying them down close to the ground and trying to spread them out. So far I have learnt with this plant she is happy just to sit there and get extra bushy. I've also stopped taking fan leaves out, she throws a fit when you do stops growing until she puts out another solar dish. For now I am tucking and bending all the leaves and tops around I have also had to higher up the light to 1meter and only have it on 50% to try and get them to grow up and spread out a bit. It is such a compact heavy indica plant. I also brewed up a Veg targeted compost tea and added 10 ltrs to the entire bed of soil mid week, with added Aloe FPJ and filled the bottom of the res up with a further 10ltrs of fluids plus some Em1 to stop the res going bad. The training will continue!

So it's the begining of week 5! By lifting the light and dropping the intensity it has certainly started making the plant grow upwards. With node spacing staying around the 1inch. The plant has now tapped its roots properly into the reservoir underneath which has made it shoot up in size and bio mass! I can now see lovely white roots in the filler pipe. I filled the res with water and Em1 which stops bad nasties building up in the water and making my roots rot. We will see how quickly she drinks daily. If I could I would put the plant to flower now but I have a holiday so will have to wait until after meaning a 9 week veg which is going to be very hard to keep it small enough in the 1m x 1m tent. I also mixed the nutrients in the noted area at 4ltrs of water and top watered. Followed by a Foliar feed of leaf formula at 1ml per ltr. The plant itself is super healthy with loads of tops showing at a lovely even canopy.

WEEK 6 FLIPPED! I think she has come a very long way with 5 weeks of veg So I have had to make a change in the plans! Originally I was going to flip her to 12/12 after my holiday but she wasn't going to wait that long so I took the decision to go now so I can get the stretch out the way before I go. She was just getting way too big in the tent! It's been a really busy couple of days. I've stripped the plants completely only only leaving the first 3/4 nodes with foliar and only the very top big fans. Counting a total of 50 tops but that number looks to go down before the end of stretch. I've filled the res with 12ltrs of water with em1. I also removed all of my woods bark so I could properly top dress with my bloom blend, Worm castings, dried hemp stems, extra bat guano and palm tree ash and 50% of the green material I cut off of the plant. I then put the bark back on. No more top dress now until later on in flower. I did a little super crop In areas and a net will go on by next week. Let's see what happens next. I'll be foliar spraying throughout stretch with a pre-flower fomular.

Wk7 STRETCH! (1st week flower) So it's been a pretty boring week and Will probably be like that for the next couple of weeks. Nothing new added. She refused to do anything all last week apart from bush out which is expected in the "transition week" I don't count this as flower. This will be the begining of 1st week of flower. She is healthy and taking on roughly 4ltrs a day and has just began her stretch putting on around 1" a day which is a relief as she is still only 30cm from top of pot to canopy. I installed a net half way through the week and pulled branches up into position its a shame the really tonk ends to the main branches are lagging behind. I've pulled them all up but just 1 is being a little ars. Anyway all is happy. Tomorrow another 12ltrs will be added to the res still adding em1 and foliar every other day with flower formula.

Wk8 Flower (2nd week of flower day 15) So this week has been another quiet week. I have been pinching out big fan leaves that are cover multiple tops to persuade even growth over the canopy. I have also cleaned out under her skirt a bit more to get rid of the unwanted and wasted growth. Only water with EM1 has been added to the res over the week she is currently drinking up to 6ltrs a day and growing around an inch taller in a 24hour period. I noticed a bad stagnant smell coming from the res so have added some lacto bacillus serum which should help that settle. Although the plant isn't complaining bad smells normally means bad microbes which in numbers are very bad. She is showing alot of pistols now and I'd expect to see bud sites prominent by end of the week mind you I don't actually think she has fully started to stretch yet! I'm keeping an eye on her closely as next week I am away and was hoping that stretch would have come and gone by now. We will see!! This week I plan to add some water soluable calcium and an alfalfa seed sprout tea. I've started to drop my humidity down every couple of days to simulate change and have my light set at 40cm

Wk9 Flower (21 days in flower) So this is a little bit of an early update as I'm away for the next week. She will be looked after by the firm while I'm away. Everything is set into position she has been completely stripped back removing about 60odd lower suckers and shitty bud sites. This is the first time I've gone this hard and want to record weather it hurts my yield..... every day is a school day. She is taking up around 6ltrs a day currently. I might need to water daily when she gets going. Since doing the strip it has fully jump started her into flower. We now have proper bud sites at long last. This is the longer transition period I've observed.... I think I'm in for a long flower here....

Week 10 Flower (29 days in flower) Everything is going well! She bushed back up during my week away. Returned to find that she had pushed out some lovely flowers nice and chunky. Strong smell of cakey pine nuts already. Very different to anything else I've grown. Completely done a 180 and now showing signs of alot more sativa than indica. I've stripped her back and removed some lower shit bud and branches. I don't really want to do anything heavy now until the end. Lumatek still pushing about 900ppfd and she's drinking around 7-8ltrs per day. Nothing was given all week but now will top dress with guano and palm tree ash with a compost tea and seed sprout tea. I've also used cable ties just to persuade the branches outwards as the elastic nets are not strong enough. The first and last time I use one. Apart from that everything is going gooood!

Week 11, Flower ( Day 36 from flip) So this week..... nothing really to report she's drinking plenty per day around the 8ltrs mark. Giving her a little coconut water I find it's a real health boost for the plant during flower. At the end of the week I added a mung bean seed sprout tea which may have been a tad too strong as after putting that down I started to see a very very tiny tip burn. I also put the pea mush as a top dress with bokashi. The flowers are already starting to show some colours and the terpen profile is loud with the scent of pine. Trichomes everywhere and I can't believe how sativa she now looks. Going to clear out the middle of some vegetation throughout this week to even out the stress rather than hitting in one go. Continue to fill up on just water.

Week 12, Flower ( Day 45 of 12/12) So smells and aromas are kicking now! Think I've got to put it down to genetics but also the KNF methods have also given the extra oomf. Thrichome production is coming along very nicely the flowers are forming nice compact tops and sturdy lower buds. Nice pit of purple colouring coming through on the tops and red on the underside of the leaves. Aroma is changing to a gassy cake like smell with pine still prominent. Just water in the res with some LABS. Mungbean tea and flower AACT to keep things going this week. In all honesty I think this plant is going for an 10-11week flower she looks to be not even half way done yet.

Week 13, Flower (Day 53 12/12) So a little bit of a hissy fit the last week. I'm gunna put it down to temps getting too low it's the only thing I can put my finger on. I started to see new growth almost like re-veg out the tops of the bud and I started to see a deficiency creep in which I diagnosed as calcium. I'm still not 100% on whats caused the re-veg and have asked a few growers, some have put it to genetics and this is a mutation of some sort. Anyway on a more positive note, getting super sticky full of resin on every leaf. As soon as the tent is opened it stinks the entire house out. Very powerful terps coming through and I still have a good couple weeks left in it. Purples and red also coming through now. Buds getting very heavy. Will be needing yoyos/supports for this girl.

Week 14, Flower (Day 57 12/12) Riding straight into week 8 now so this is when I expect her to put most of her weight on which is hard to believe considering colars are already falling over. Still filling the res up and just letting her do her thing. Smells are incredible! She is definitely going 10weeks minimum not a orange trichome in site and fresh flowers popping up. No more signs of bananas and she is happy I put her into slightly more dark and raised the lights a little as well. Now it's just ride it out for the next couple weeks.

Week 15, flower (Day 64 12/12) Sorry for the delayed updates at such a juicy time of the grow! As you can see from some of the pics we have a little fade coming into the leaves. I've learnt with SIP containers you don't get the really dramatic leaf colour change at the end of a run. Trichomes are saying differently with orange appearing and this will be the final week before we are into the harvest window! The buds are packing on weight and the branches are struggling to keep it up. Aromas are very strong now. Water uptake has also slowed right down from 8ltrs a day to just 2ltrs. It's almost time!!

Week 16, Flower (Day 71 12/12) IT IS TIME!! The chop is happening. Trichomes are shouting smoke me, the smells are good enough to eat and the colours are really showing. It's time that she is chopped and sorted out for the dry. Removing all large fan leaves and will be attempting a complete plant dry for this run. Leaving the sugars and small leaves to protect the flower during the dry. SMELLS ARE AMAZING!! CHOP CHOP
