Plagron seedbooster plus ~ 250ml/250ml over 12 seeds.
First time using the plagron germination kit. Start on the 6th of February in plugs, will start count from saturday the 11th of February.
12/12 have raised above medium. 9/12 have succesfully germinated. 2 seedlings have helmet heads, which I will try and help to remove. 1 seedling seems to be sideways, she had it difficult popping her head up, hopefully it’ll make it.
Environment monitored by Pulse (one).
Day of upload ~ 26/02
~14/17 days old~
Grow is going pretty good overall. Weekly averages are on point, might have a cal def early on, new growth does fine.
No training.
Nice week to look back at. Environment was good, no real problems to take care of. I did cut off some lowers to help airflow above pot level.
Ppfd ~ 480
Since every week im adding .5ml/l a&b.
I’m noticing more and more cal defs going on (mostly lowers but on a few tops aswell) so I’ll switch up the feed and add more calmag, .5ml less a&b.
Daily feeds ~ Ph&EC runoff are almost identical to input.
I can’t figure out how to get rid of the algae while feeding daily. There’s a floorfan blowing onto several pots, without success.
A light defol of some cotyledons and lowers, nothing more.
Spent the last week trying to fix what’s wrong. Went back to feeding via schedule (I was off on base a&b), added more amino acids because of the low temps and vpd swings.
All plants were topped 12/03. Cuts are used to try determine sex.
Took off ugly fan leaves and tops that were hidden. This way I’m trying to minimize growth underneath the scrog net. (install next week)
I’m pretty sure the two biggest plants here are showing me female preflowers. (Front left & back right) 2/12.
Other plants are also beginning to show something at the nodes but its too early for me to tell. According to how my male/female rate I will decide what comes next.
Alot has happened this past week. I have decided to take out several plants this week. While taking expression traits into account, my decisions were easier to take. Something makes me feel like I still took a shot in the dark but this has made my experience more enjoyable. Only way to know for sure is to put them in flower.
In the meanwhile the ones left have been transplanted into 15 liter pots. Its been a couple of days and I decided to take one more plant out of the run and a defol which can be seen on the last photo on 26/03.
The main reason to why I’ve added topping as a training method is because I have noticed some plants topped themselves. Or this may have been unintentional.
I’ve decided to supercrop 1 plant, which was the biggest and quickest growing. She was the first one to show preflowers. She has been recovering well. This is the plant in the back, right side.
This week started with installing the trellis net. Since last weeks update I have been changing light cycle to 12/12. Today, the day of upload is day 1 of flower. Exciting times ahead! 😁
I’ve done a small defoliation before using the net. The dehu is on since a few days. The relative humidity is uncontrollable it seems. Dehu set on 40%, rh drops 5-10%.
I’ve repositioned 1 yoda to the middle of the tent. The 2 females, cookies kush and pushin P, are now in the front of the tent. Hoping for the glookies to be done before the end of the stretch of these two.
Tent is getting filled and looks promising🙏
First 7 days on 12-12 ~
The relative humidity is getting incredibly hard to lower. The dehu is on a constant drying mode which makes the lung room’s rh 40%.
In the first week im sure they’ve gained another 10-15cm in height.
The lamp to plant distance is the remaining height available for these yodas to stretch. Another trellis might be installed next week.
These girls are slowly coming to an end of the stretch. Im now at day 14.
There’s a smell of cannabis, nothing uncontrollable.
These girls have gained alot of height in these first two weeks of stretch.
The biggest branches were cropped mid this week. It’s crazy how these are recovering so quick. The day after the same branches were back up and healthy💪🏼.
Still on the same feed, didn’t want to feed more than I’m comfortable (going up as weeks progress) as I did not want to give that stretch an extra push.
Defol is happening in the following days. This will be covered in next weeks’ update.
Alot went south this week.
Since these girls stretched so much, I have decided to supercrop the tallest branches, with succes.
20/4: Unfortunately, some male signs caught my eye as soon as I opened my tent. (Lucky) So I took both off with wet fingers. These were able to be found on 2 seperate branches.
On the same day I decided to kill this one plant. She was a very vigorous plant. One of the best growing ones in the tent.
The trellis had to get cut aswell.
The overal environment has been getting better and better. Still trying to get the rh down overday. Currently stuck between 55-65%.
The plants have changed alot over the week as the pics will tell.
Overall vpd still .3 too low to be perfect.
Feed has been switched up since day 21 flower.
Starting day 29 I will add Plagron’s new nutrient, power buds, to the mix.
24.5°C is this weeks’ average.
Temp goes up to 27°C during daytime.
Daytime RH: 62%
Nighttime RH: 57%
Dehumidifier is constantly on, keeping it on a minimum of 24,5°C.
Lungroom RH average: 40%.
There is a weak citrus skunk smell coming through the plants’ smell.
What a week!
The plants are falling over. The two at the back are a mess, alot of smaller growth stuck on each other, weak stems so alot of branches do not have the strength to keep themselfs up. Had to cut off some lowers too :/
I’ve used rubber wire and hemp wire to keep the plants somewhat in shape. I did open up the back a bit more so the smaller, middle growth receives more light.
Sugar Royal got cut out in the middle of this week. I figured the leaves where getting too dark and the tips were starting to burn.
Happy growing :)
I have been lowering the feed per 2 days. Will continue to give base a&b with the usual for the last week. They’re drinking a bit less. Will also keep the water colder next time.
Had some rh spikes at night. Thanks to the AC I’ve been able to fix that.
Not much to show other than some buds packing weight💪🏼.
They have been given nutrients untill last thursday. I’m now steadily flushing out the pots. I should be below 200ppms starting today, day 63 of flower. This is a wild guess, I haven’t checked runoff. I will let my pots dry out starting next thursday.
I notice the plants depleting which is a good sign to me.
The trichomes are mostly fully milky with clears in between.
By the time I’ve posted the next week’s update, they will be cut to dry.
Lowers and popcorn has been left on the branches. Im also very picky when it comes to buds and trimming in general. I have only weighed the chosen plant for the growoff, at 154g’s. Total yield is inaccurate. With the leftover trim I will make bubble hasj in the future.
