Here you see the wild Berry cake show that it’s male. Bagged and chopped sprayed down every thing to make sure there was no pollen floating around. No sacks seemed to be open yet. Also added a trellis net for the wedding cake x banana buttercups. Week 2 is over.
Week four we have finished the stretch. I’ve been in this tent simply plucking fan leaves that need to be removed. Watering when dry. I also have a top dress of 284 gai green bloom.
Week 5. The buds are stacking. The colas are looking like they will be large and dense. The smell is very strong at this time. Leaning towards the wedding cake but also has this strong sweetness to it.
Buds are still growing larger. Smell is still as strong as ever. Week 8 is a wrap. Usually this breeders strains will finish up around week 8. But I verged longer than I would’ve liked to(6weeks). So I’ll take this plant to 10or11 weeks of flower.
Week 9. Nothing to really say. I simply have been watering when dry. Though the plant is drinking a lot of water about half-full gallon of water a day.
Week 11. Passing the finish line!! Finishing up week 11 with a day of darkness then hanging up to dry here. Smells amazing very sweet smell. I’m happy with this grow.
First time growing this strain. I want to keep it around. I’ll be receiving to make a mother. It’s got a wedding cake smell with some fruity hint to it. Buds are rock hard and large. It’s checked my boxes.
Easy to grow. Only issue I ran into was the other strain being a male. If I grew this strain alone I would’ve filled out the tent with just this strain the yield would’ve reflected that. Keep in mind if the other plant didn’t get the chop this yield would be almost double. I will grow this cut again.
