Overall getting good bud development. Did have a few male pollen sacks on both plants. Less on Oxy Pot. But hopefully removed them all. Obviously a genetic trait carried from mother as these are bags seeds. No doubt created through the mother turning hermie to produce seeds in first place

Any ideas on getting better root development in an oxy pot. Ive lowered the water down an inch below and there seems to be some improvement but not as quick as I've witnessed before.

Hmmm I used to use House and Garden (I’m hydro/DWC) I switched to Advanced Nutrients Grandmaster line. I had always had a thick mat (rectangular sterilite tanks) of roots that completely filled the tank. With the Advanced Nutrients my roots were well there but occupied like 10% of possible area through harvest. Long story short Use Roots Excelurator (silver for hydro, gold for soil) the first 2 weeks of seedling stage and again for 2 weeks at the beginning of the flowering stage. You won’t look back. Oh when you have a coronary over the price keep in mind it’s very concentrated 1ml/gal dose so a liter mixes 1000 gallons (3810 liters). So it’s actually pretty cheap to use just not to start. My .5l bottle I bought in June 2017 is almost gone. I think it was $180 maybe

Anyone got any DIY tips on how to keep resolution cooler. Haven't got the space for a chiller at the minute.

Hello @GrowGreen . Well if the space is your only concern you should try to use a peltier water cooling system ( thermo electric module ). It is basically a solid state heat pump. I use one of these ( https://www.aliexpress.com/item/12V-240W-Semiconductor-electronic-Parr-Peltier-refrigeration-film-air-conditioning-water-cooling-cold-Aluminum-radiator-fan/32587957306.html?spm=2114.10010108.1000023.8.5ced696eIwqa8u ) with thermostat for every 25-40 liters of solution ( depending from the season ) that i want to keep cool. These modules can achieve really low temperatures. I also use it for DIY CPU water cooling. It makes things really cold. Happy growing !👊

Anyone got any reccomendations on a small humidifier. My room is around 2 square metre cube

@UK420, hi, there are quite many ways. Maybe you want to try clay (pieces) or salt or these passive dehumidifiers you can buy for 10$ in every supermarket

Nor much height growth this week. But plenty of side ways and new growth. Kind of making me think these bag seeds were from an auto flower.

What's people's thought on water level and roots in an oxy system. I haven't used an aeroponic propagator to start the seeds off with a1 roots. The plant in the oxy has good roots but not flowing out of the net pot yet. My water level is around 2 inches under the net pot at the minute. Do you think it's best to raise water level to over the bottom of the net pot until there is significant root development

Was struggling with heat on week 1. 300w dual cfl light with reflector seems to keep the heat around the plants when fairly low. Raised the light to around 40cm in week 2 and temps have dropped around 2 degrees c
