After a long selection process, we all tasted the resulting hybrid and agreed that there was something really big going on. Why is it that people like Blue Dream so much? Although it's true that Blue Dream is a blessing for cannabis growers, we can state that the key to her success lies in her effect and her taste. Verified. That's why she's the pet strain of many people over 40."** **CREDIT: Humboldt Seed Organization ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~ This will be a 100% Organic grow ~ Initially seed was planted directly into the medium. ~ Planted into a 1qt. plastic pot filled with that was hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 6.5 ph. ~ Seed germinated for three days before breaking ground. ~ Grown in a 10g fabric pot filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite amended with Xtreme Gardening Mykos, Gaia Green 4-4-4 (2tbsp/g) / 2-8-4 (1tbsp/g) and 30% Worm Castings. ~ Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with Gaia Green slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~ Straight well water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ~ Grown under HLG 650R's with a 18/6 light cycle for vegetation, then 12/12 to flower with supplemental UVA added during the last weeks of flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~ Supplemental co2 provided throughout vegetation and flower - monitored and controlled by an AutoPilot APC8200 co2 controller. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 1/3- Here we go into veg with this little lady from the Humboldt Seed Organization... Two weeks of growth behind us and I'm looking forward to see this Humboldt Seed Organization's Blue Dream strut her stuff! I watered her today with straight well water that was ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉ until it just started to exit the bottom of her 1qt. pot. The Blue Dream is looking absolutely phenomenal at 4 inches tall now, with a beautiful dark green color and exceptional vigor! I think this girl's going to be 'leggy'! 1/5- The routine when growing organic is super simple... keep the medium moist, but not wet and top dress every 3-4 weeks. You can also supplement with Compost Tea's weekly/Bi-Weekly or Monthly depending on personal preference. I personally like to add 1 tbsp/g of Unsulfured Black Strap Molasses to my watering schedule once a week and do monthly Compost Tea's just because that has worked well for me in the past. I transplanted the Blue Dream into a 10g fabric pot today that was filled with 70/30 Coco/Perlite and 'pre-amended' with Gaia Green 4-4-4 @ 2 tbsp/g and 2-8-4 @ 1 tbsp/g along with 1qt per gallon of Wiggle Worm castings. After removing her from the 1qt. pot, I moistened the receiving hole in the 10g pot and coated it with Xtreme Gardening's MYCOS root stimulator and then 'locked' it in with a few squirts of water from a spray bottle. I then placed the Blue Dream into her new home and watered her in. The Blue Dream was topped for the first time yesterday and took it all in stride, never showing any signs of stress. She's got great color, vigor and is the healthiest looking plant in my run of five photoperiods that she's sharing the 4x8 with. 1/7- The Blue Dream was watered today and did fantastic after her transplant, showing ZERO stress! Her vigor and color remain on point and I'm excited to see this girl in another few weeks! 1/9- I went ahead and watered today and added 1 tbsp/g of Unsulfured Black Strap Molasses to it, then ph'd it to 6.4 @ 74℉.
