I use a glass of water with 2/3 drops of hydrogen peroxide until tap root shows. I then transfer to a moist paper towel to grow tap root to desired length - doing this today (usually after 1 to 2 days) . I have a problem with seeds popping out of shell if I leave in cup. Mostly due to my work schedule. By the time I get home on 3rd to 4th day some pop out.
1/3/23 - removed from the cup and placed into napkins
1/4/23 - tap roots were long enough to plant into solo cups with happy frog soil. Used recharge to moisten soil. Each cup has a plastic sandwich bag to keep humidity in high 80% range. This is being monitored by small temp/humidity readers that I taped to each solo.
1-7-23, super skunks looking good. Humidity running 90 -98, temp 78 to 80deg.
I am worried about the Irie Genetics Sunkiss. Still hopeful as it is only 3 days out from soil plant. I have been looking forward to growing these. I have others from Irie as well but I wanted to get better before I popped them. Tap roots looked great so if these mess up , I made a mistake somewhere. These are great genetics but I am still a newbie grower.
Will move to veg tent after seedling phase.
So far so good. Haven't done much other then keeping an eye on temp and moisture. Lower light intensity made a huge difference. I think that is what created most the damage from earlier grows and what prevented some seed from proper germination. Plan moving forward is slow increases over the veg life for intensity. These will move to veg tent soon.
Super skunk fems were moved to large tent on week 4. So far they adapted really well to the environment change. Not as humid as it should be due to autos in flower within the same tent. Day 31 today hope to transplant into a 1 gallon pot on day 38. Then top and gather clones on day 48. All girls look to have simular phenotypes. I want to have some back ups just in case these come out as keepers.
2/13 Moved the Super Skunks into 1 gallon fabric pots.
I think the roots looked pretty good -would love some feedback. Still learning what healthy roots look like.
Mixed dynomyco with Commonwealth Soil for transplant.
2/16 - so far they all look great. I will add some pics tomorrow.
Using recharge weekly, and Foop. Week 6 ration but I added additional ml/gal to try and push fast growth.
Next will be a 2 gallon, then a 5, and eventually a 7 gallon pot for final home. Goal is to see difference in the yield and terps between a 2 gallon bloom and a 7 gallon. I currently have some clones in flower using 2 gallon pots to get a comparison.
Day 51= Super skunk is looking good. Starting to smell pretty good. Trimmed them up to 5th node on 1, and left other trimmed to 3rd nodes. I want to see how they grow with the different trims.
Using Foop, veg week 6 mix with additional 10ml/gal. I will continue this mix until they are at the size I want them to be for bloom. I move them into bloom tent along with some additional clones
Main lined plants seem to perking back up. I will uppot them soon, and top again. If it works out I will set up a tomato cage in preparation for the colas. I would like 6 to 8 for this first attempt
2 of the super skunks were taken to the flower tent. They are 14 days in. I will add pictures tomorrow
Brotha!!! I love Foop! I know the guys, they are local to me on the East Coast. I love their ingredients.
Mad respect for going organic, you are crushing 😍 👏 🙌 💪
Come check out my diary, I do living soil and make all of my inputs in house, I show some easy recipes and love to show others how to make them yourself. Would love to see everyone on here making one or two inputs themselves.
❤️
@TheFattyMcCoy,
