"Gelato Auto is a famous autoflowering strain from Fastbuds, which has a dessert taste of cookies and exotic ice cream. It has a very high THC content, about 26%. The variety has an energetic, uplifting effect, perfect for creative activities. It helps with depression and insomnia. Gelato Auto grows to 120 cm in 8-9 weeks and has an Indica-like structure. Light defoliation is recommended for better growth. Hard resinous buds can be covered with orange hairs and have a light purple color. It is necessary to use carbon filters, as the strain has a strong smell. This variety is good for making oils and extracts. And this is undoubtedly one of the most powerful FastBuds strains." - Fast Buds Thank you for sponsoring this grow! ~MC 💜💛💚

I always have trouble with humidity so I have a small humidifier next to the seedlings. I am being careful not to water them directly so that their little roots may grow to find water.

She's doing well! LST Begins this week and a neem oil solution has been applied as a preventative for pest.

I stunted her along with Tropicana Cookies due to struggling with low temps and using a premixed neem solution to keep away any gnats or mites. I have another Gelato Auto bean germinating. I will try to keep her as happy as possible.

I pulled a couple leaves from the bottom and that seemed to have stimulate some more upward growth. My autos always surprise me and even the smallest ones can produce some quality bud. I'm still excited to see what she does for me. My small babies pack punches too.

She's doing well despite early complications with pests. I have no idea where those critters came from (they are probably the reason my Pineapple Chuck had signs of TMV) but they are now gone and my girls can shine. Fast Buds genetics are strong.

This is my sample plant and once I saw the flowers I planted another. I kept this one small because of a thrip issue that seemed to have come out of no where. They are no longer attacking this plant and her flowers are so pretty. I'm confident to say that this Gelato is pest resistant. I'm only giving plain water from this point on.

She's tiny but her Buds are developing well. I had a thrip issue that I've gotten under control. Can keeping windows open during winter can encourage critters to seek warmth? This is the first time that I have had these type of critters in my garden but there is a first time for every situation when growing. My humidity was very low as it is every winter. Dry warmth is the perfect environment for thrips. Spraying the plnts with plain water and/or seaweed extract helps keep them moist. My problem with humidifiers is that I'm using just a regular closet for most of veg and I don't want to risk mold or mildew. My soil could have been infested with thrip eggs from the garden store. I remedied the issue with insecticide soap for organic growing, while being careful not to spray the Buds. Thank you for stopping by.

She's getting plain water from here on out. She's so pretty and her purple isn't a deep purple but more lavender to the eye under natural light. Nice work fast buds. My fault for slacking on pest management. I hate that I had this problem on my first Sponsored grow. I grow smaller plants because it's just myself and my girlfriend who utilize cannabis for medicinal purposes. I admit I didn't intend for my first Gelato to be this small, but I was afraid to transplant after the thrip issue. In hindsight, I wish I would have transplanted because the Tropicanna Cookies took off to a respectable size after her transplant while going through the same issue. Thrips are controlled now. We like to have a variety so growing massive plants wouldn't be ideal at the moment. I remember beasting out a Dosidos plant and the effects weren't as good in the second half of the batch because our systems got used to it. Thank you for stopping by.
