January 1, 1PM
Started 3 seeds into coffee filters, moist ziploc bag then onto the heat mat til they pop.
Had 1 seed dry out a bit from the heat so I added more water to the ziploc with a spray bottle, hope it survives 😶
January 4, 6AM
Noticed the dried out Sour Stomper seed wasn't making any more progress so I popped another into the germination bag as a backup.
January 4, 6PM
Planted germinated FS and SwCDLC into their final pots. Current tent environment is 80F / 65% RH. Will try and shoot for 75F / 65%.
January 6, 10AM
Popped a third Sour Stomper seed on Jan 5th, so far all 3 seeds cracked but produced no tap roots. Used 3 different germination methods, all 3 failed. I think the seeds were just not good. I popped a Raven Berry last night around 4PM so I can still have a three plant run and they were the freshest seeds I ordered just 3 weeks ago so I hope they turn out. Kinda disappointed with the Sour Stomper since I was really looking forward to some of those grapey 🍇 terps. Hopefully Meph has double grape on the Canadian store or another batch of new Sour Stomper seeds.
Got tent dialed in at 75F 61-65% RH with the inkbird. Current DLI is 20 @ 24" above seedlings. SwC and FS popped above soil today.
January 8, 9AM
So one of the Sour Stomper seeds decided it wanted to live and grew a 1" taproot over night so we're back to the original grow. The Ravenberry also germinated properly so I'll be throwing that in a Pringle can for fun.
January 10, 10AM
Another Sour Stomper decided it wanted to grow a root so I planted it in a small green pot and will keep it downstairs with the rest of my herb plants. I didn't expect a seed to take 7 days to germinate. Planted the Ravenberry into a Pringle can last night. The first 2 seeds popped above soil on January 6 so I'll consider that Day 0 for week timing. Week 1 update will be on January 13th.
Current plants:
3 Gallon: Forgotten Strawberries, Skywalker x CDLC, Sour Stomper #1
Pringle Can: Ravenberry
1L Pot: Sour Stomper #2
January 12
SwCDLC and FS are growing well a week since popping above soil. RB is looking good in the pringles can and both of the SS's are slow going. I expect the SS's to be low yielding runts but they're planted and being cared for.
Current DLI is 24.0 @ 24" 50% power on the TSW2000 for both of the big plants, smaller plants are further from the center of the light and get less light overall. The InkBird has been great so far, the humidifier needs to be filled half as often as last grow.
GH Trio were given 3 days ago, CalMag and Silicate were today. I'll alternate nutes + supplements each feed.
January 17
Plants are doing well, gave another starter dose of nutes like the last time. Ravenberry has already passed both Sour Stompers.
DLI still 24 @ 24"
January 19
The plants are doing well after 14 days above ground. FS and SwCDLC are healthy and growing well. The 2 Stunt Stompers continue to live but their pace is slow. If they get large ill be very surprised. Ravenberry is happy enough in its can. The pringles can doesn't breathe as well as the cloth pots so it's using less water, I punched a few more holes in the sides of the can today so I hope that helps it breathe better.
Currently watering the 2 largest plants 250ml every 2 days and the 3 smaller plants get 250ml across all 3 every 2 days. Current DLI still at 24.0 from the soil top so the taller 2 plants are getting around 28.
January 21
Quick photo update. Plants are growing really well right now.
January 23
Topped the FS and SwCDLC today. Fed 1mL/L calmag, 3L of water used, 1L each large plant, 1L shared across the 3 smaller plants.
January 26
Gave the plants an increase dose of nutrients on the 25th and today I noticed the FS were getting a bit of burn on the tips so I flushed the soil with about 4 gallons of pH 7 water. They're looking better today. RB has a few crispy lower leaves, I think because it has less soil and dries out quicker. I'll probably have to water it daily. The SwCDLC didn't bat an eye at the increased nutrient level. Both SS's are growing ok. The 3 gallon SS is larger then my micro grow one for obvious reasons. Both of the larger plants showed sex a few days ago so I know they're female and the stretch is underway. Hopefully start getting a few small buds next week!
February 2
FS stretched like crazy over the last week and is starting to flower now. I've defoilated the lower part of the plant, removing lower bud sites but kept the fan leaves for now. SwCDLC didn't stretch as much and is flowering similar to the FS. The 3 gallon Stunt Stomper is doing well considering how slow it started out. Both the RB and small SS have a few crisp lower leaves so I gave them a bit more calcium. I didn't buffer the coco/peat moss before I planted them because I didn't expect them to grow properly so I think they were deficient. I recently dialed down the humidity to 58% and will continue to slowly drop it over the next few weeks as flowering progresses.
February 12
The plants are doing well this week. The Ravenberry had a few nuts growing so it's been isolated til it gets its life together. The Sour Stomper has surprised me, growing almost normally now after being so small. The Forgotten Strawberries has stretched like crazy while the SWxCDLC is a bit shorter.
February 23
Plants are doing well 7 weeks in. FS is the furthest along, then SwCDLC followed by the SourS. The smells mingling in the tent are deliciously sweet, fruity and a hint of skunky dank. The Sour Stomper has surprised me since it started off so slow. I grabbed some rain rings to speed up the watering process. I'm hoping to use a reservoir and 'hand' water with the rings - dump a gallon on each pot and cut some time with routine tasks.
March 3
Everything is going well. I turned the light down to about 65% since I'm running out of room vertically and a few leaves near the middle were getting a bit crispy. The FS is starting to fade a bit on the lowers and I'm guessing it'll be done in 2 weeks. The SwCDLC is around the same time at the FS, while the Sour Stomper is about 10-14 behind. The Stunt Stomper is doing well despite its size, a real showcase of how resilient cannabis is. Chop day is approaching!
March 9, 2023
Plants are still doing well. The FS and SWxCDLC are plumping up really well. I snapped a few macro shots of the FS and it's quite close to maturity. There were mostly cloudy with scattered clear trichomes, I'd guess another week for both. The SS is about 2 weeks behind but overall it's the biggest plant. Hoping to chop 2 plants then finish the Sour Stomper as the last plant in the tent.
March 25.
Same as last week, not much going on but the buds are maturing well. A few new stigmas here and there but mostly just waiting for a bit of amber on the trichs and the plants will come down.

Forgotten Strawberries Harvested April 2 (Day 88)
Great plant, lovely structure. Smells like cream and berries. It's been drying for 5 days now at 58-56% rh 67-71°F.
I chopped the FS and SWxCDLC so check out that harvest too.
I'll update weights and cure progress as those times come up.
April 10
Buds have been drying at 58% 68°F for 8 days and feel great. I trimmed, bagged and got a final weight of 202g from this plant.

Skywalker x Creme de la Chem - Harvested April 2 (Day 88)
Short and bushy, very dark green indica looking. Smells like burning rubber and a pine-ish scent. It's been drying for 5 days now at 58-56% rh 67-71°F.
I chopped the FS and SWxCDLC so check out that harvest too.
I'll update weights and cure progress as those times come up.
April 10
After trimming this plant yielded 132 grams. Some of the lower buds were larfy but they didn't get much light. The smell continues to develop and I think it'll reach peak potency in a few weeks.
