Black Skull Seeds - Zkittles Autoflowers

Today is day 8 and a second set of true leaves are showing overnight so it’s time to start feeding these girls gently. We’re going with an organic nutrient with Nutrifield, and will switch over to Floramax when the roots have developed enough for both girls to sit in the autopots. I will be top feeding daily to runoff for a week and then we will assess their readiness for the autopot. This is a 10-12 week auto so i have created my own feeding schedule based on my last run of Auto Dosi by G13 Labs. We will be using some LST throughout the grow, i won’t be topping these girls as they only get to 100cm max anyhow. If absolutely necessary we might super-crop. Anyhow, this is where the real fun begins!

Slow week it would appear. Currently feeding twice a day (10-12 hours apart). Plants look happy, just haven’t shot up as quickly as some other strains. Things are starting to pick up a little though, so let’s see how we go over the next 14 days of vege! Edit: Ok so it’s now Saturday morning and we are 5 days through this week. The plants have doubled in size from the start of the week and are continuing to rapidly grow now. Everything is looking good. Got some big summer heat on the way this week so keeping things cool will be the aim. Have a good weekend all!

The girls have grown considerably this week compared to this first few. Plants are filling out and flowering branches are pushing out from the middle. The plant is only supposed to be 100cm max height but i think we might end up with something smaller than that around the 60-70cm mark. Not complaining though, all else looks good and the plants are loving the organic line of nutrients and being hand fed twice a day. Summer here so still quite warm and high humidity (60% naturally) so we will use those conditions to help us vege out and be ready for flowering!!

Ok, well - i’m not sure how good Black Skull genetics are usually but for week 4 as an auto ive seen a lot better. Anyhow we will push on as we have some other auto’s ready to document shortly too 😉 This week i bought and added ‘Floramax - Growth XS’ to my feeding got these girls. Boy did that make a difference, i would even suggest going back to last week and seeing the size comparison. Lots of side branching developed this week and some pistils appeared on the larger plant. Another week and i think it will start to show more readiness for flowering. All in all this grow is definitely one of the more strange ive ever done but all the same looking forward seeing the results

Well this has been an interesting week. Plant has shot up and doubled its height in 7 days and is starting to show white pistils at different branch nodes indicating this is likely the start of preflower. Lots of side branching and bud sites thanks to the Floramax Growth XS. Not sure about where you are but here it is expensive but i am telling you now, it is worth it! I will be using this on all plants from now on. Only required for feeding for 1 week during 2nd or 3rd week of vege but i would suggest do the 2nd week as you need 2 weeks gap before flowering from feeding the plant this stuff, and no its not PGR. After about 2-3 days you will see a massive change and then for the next 7-8 days the plant just keeps developing branches and height. It’s amazing to watch. When i see more pistils develop on the bud sites we can add more flowering nutrients. The second plant is still smaller and has different shaped leaves and structure to the main plant. I am waiting to see if this is going to herm (my guess). I will give it a chance at the end of the day if it starts showing balls she will go to the chooks. No smells yet, expect that more rapid flowering growth is on the way over the next couple of days and i am looking forward to seeing some buds start being produced.

Well this girl is getting up there in height now. We are not far from the light, although i can give another 15cm of distance if need be. I am hoping this is now the end of stretch as the plant has reached the breeder recommended height. Pistils are forming everywhere on bud sites and side branching is doing a good job in keeping up with the main cola. I trashed the other smaller plant. No pistils showing, stunted growth even though completely healthy, and i am positive it was going to herm anyhow. All in all she’s very healthy and loving life. Hoping 4-6 weeks will have it all finished and harvested.

Sorry ive been away team, personal bullshit as always. Never forgot about you though 😉😂🙌 This girl is almost done. Maybe another 1-2 weeks tops. Fat as hell, weak smell until you get up close and then she is all mint/lime which is surprisingly awesome. Looking forward to finishing this one and curing her to perfection. Decent yield on the way!!

Just maturing to go now. Expecting 3-5 days before harvest. Buds are thickkk and have decent resin on them. To the touch they smell like mint lime with a hint of spice almost like cinnamon. Will harvest in lights off cycle towards end, and hang the whole plant to dry as is for 14 days.
