Dark Phoenix Mainline Cooler DWC

Week 1 This little lady is off to a nice healthy start. I am pretty excited to run Green House Seed Co genetics for the first time. I will be Mainlining this plant for 8 tops. I am running her along side a Mimosa Evo (see other diary) which will also get 8 tops. Onward! 😎🍻

Week 2 This little lady is quite happy. She definitely has that sativa look to her already. She is a pretty perky plant. I am happy with the growth so far at the 2 week mark. Onward 😎🍻

Week 3 This week saw plenty of action. There was a fair bit of new growth and the little lady got her first bit of mainlining done. I can’t wait to see what this week brings. The roots are really starting to take off and they are as white as snow. Onward 😎🍻

Week 4 Well I did the first round of LST this week which will really get the mainline functioning. This little lady is a vigorous little plant. She is a light feeder though so I have noticed a little tip burning but nothing too serious. I like the nice open structure of this plant so far. I should be up to four tops sometime this week. Week 5 Another week full of lots of new growth. I am up to four tops now so it’s just a matter of waiting a little longer and I will be up to the magic number 8. I really like the open structure of this plant. She seems perky and very healthy up to now. Cooler internals: 6.2 pH 0.4 EC 65 F solution temp. Onward 😎🍻

Week 6 This Lady is up to 8 tops😎. Now I just have to get each top in the right locations at which point I’ll let them get a few nodes taller and then flip. This Lady is growing a little slower than her roommate (A Mimosa EVO) so I left a few extra fan leaves on her in the hopes that will speed her up a bit. I have noticed that this plant seems to throw the two main branches at a node but it also throws out additional branches. I’ve had a plant do this before and in my experience it makes the buds denser. We will see how it goes with this lady. Cooler internals are: 6.0 pH 0.4 EC 56 F solution temp. I can’t wait to flip the tent !!!! 🔥🔥 Onward 😎🍻

Week 7 Well things are progressing nicely. I have noticed that there is one top that is growing slower than the rest which kind of sucks but it is what it is. I will likely be flipping in the next few days. 😎. This plant does not seem to be as vigorous as the Mimosa EVO. The growth of the mimosa is why I feel the need to flip soon. Cooler internals are: 6.0 pH 0.4 EC 65 F solution temp. Onward 😎🍻

Week 8 (week 1 of flower) Think are looking good for this Dark Phoenix. She is starting to stretch out a bit now. Cooler internals are: 6.0 pH 1.0EC 500ppm 65 F solution temp. Onward 😎🍻

Week 9 Things are going great at this point. The plant is really stretching out and I am starting to see pistils popping here and there. She isn’t exactly exploding into flowering but it can be a 10 week flowering strain according to the breeder so I am not surprised. Cooler internals: 6.0 pH EC 1.0 500 ppm 64 F solution temp Onward 😎🍻

Week 10 Week 3 of Flower Well … bud sites are on the scene. I love the nice open structure of this plant. The stretch has been pretty wild! She is being a bit crowded to the back of the tent now because of the explosive growth of her tent mate (Mimosa EVO). I can’t wait to see this lady stack on bud now. 😎🔥 Cooler internals: 600 ppm 1.2EC 5.9pH-6.1 (it swings a bit over 3 days) 65 F Solution Temp. Onward 😎🍻

Week 11 Week 4 of Flower This lady is pretty happy right now. She did get a bit of tip burn this week but nothing too serious. This plant really stretched out. Even more so than her tent mate the Mimosa EVO. There are loads of bud site now so the fun has truly begun. I am excited for the weeks ahead. This lady is starting to stack up pretty nicely now. I am glad this plant is doing well as her tent mate is a bit of a dud. Can’t wait to see what this week brings. The smell of this plant is an orange scent. Pretty unique.

This plant is starting to get some fatter buds. Her tent mate is a bit of a dud unfortunately. I took some fan leaves off this week to open things up for the final swelling to take place. According to the breeder I have another 4 weeks or so left. She is developing a nice lemony orange scent. She does have some tip burn going on which is unfortunate but it hasn’t affected bud growth much. Cooler internals: 5.9pH 350ppm 65F 😎🍻

Week 7 This lady is filling out nicely. She looks like she has at least 2 weeks left at this point. Her tent mate only has a week or so. Cooler internals; 5.9pH 350 ppm 66F I can’t wait to see this plant really chunk up in the next few weeks.

Week 8 of flower Well this plant is really filling out. I definitely roasted the edges of the her fan leaves but she is still chugging along nicely. She should start to ripen up in the next couple of weeks. 😎😎

Week 9 of flower, Well, this plant is done. I will be taking her down ASAP. She really fattened up nicely. The pistils on this plant never really receded. Trics indicate that she is done though. I have heard of this happening but never experienced it before. I guess I can check that off the list now. 😎

This genetic was fairly easy to grow but did not take well to high ppms. The stretch was the most I’ve seen in my tent so limiting her height is a top priority prior to the flip. I definitely want to run it again to get a different Pheno with a tighter bud structure. In the end I got 137 grams dried. Which isn’t a huge result but given how fluffy the buds are I’m not surprised.
