day 7 from seed and yet another 100% germination rate!.... i will start a lightweight feeding for them next watering ....just been using ph water the first 7 days since i am growing in coco coir i will have to start nutrients... been using this same cmh bulb now for over a year so this will be my last grow on this bulb,after this grow i will most liekly use my led light because by then temperatures will be higher up👍

day 14 from seed germination and all the plants look the exact same which i guess would be a sign of stable genetics, i have not had to feed them much but they seem good to go😀...day temps been sort of high besides that everything is great

it's been 21 days since i put the seed in a paper towel to germinate and everything seems good...all 5 plants are simular in size shape,etc... shows again that these are good genetics, i topped 4 plants and left 1 un-topped just to see what difference i get in yield at harvest time...has been a little hot in the tent which is making my plants soak up more water so the tips are very slightly burnt... i just lowered my nutrients in the water until the temperature gets right... since i am using cmh lighting these plants are staying short right now but nodes are tight and i topped between the 4th and 5th node hoping they stay smaller when the transition to flower comes but we will see... i also plan on lst a few plants just so i can get a idea on yield from 3 type og growing (topped once/un-topped/and lst)...whichever method yields the most for me will be the way i go for now on,everyone grows differently so i am just trying to figure out which works best for my style... smoke one peace!😆

day 28 from germination and i have a problem...i ordered cal-mag right on the same day as i germinated the seeds on ebay it never came and now it's day 28 i have not gave my plants any cal-mag at all! the seller is supposedly fast shipping some cal-mag since i never got it in the mail so far only the bottom leaves seem effected by not having cal-mag and i did put some powdered epsom salt to take care of the magnesium.... besides that i decided to lst all the plants except 1 and my cmh is keeping the plants short with tight nodes like i wanted so i am happy so far with these Alaskan diesel auto seeds.... seedsman is always my go to for seeds even if i want to try another company's seeds most likely seedsman has it for me! so besides the cal-mag issue and slightly high temps on some days these being lst should make for some decent bushes at the end of this grow 😀 the 3 plants in the 1 gallon favbric pots are bigger but that's expected early because smaller containers establish roots faster, the two in the 3 gallon will definitely catch up i've seen it before lol... oh and i will definitely need a new cmh bulb or to switch to led by next grow i keep holding off because this phillips cmh bulb has lasted me so far for my 4th grow on the same bulb lol

week one of flower and already a good smell starting, the bottom leaves are yellowing from not giving it cal mag all through veg growing in coco so i will have to go ahead and go buy some this week to add to the water, besides that i liked that they are staying short under the cmh because i got 3 of the plants in 1 gallons i just want to see what i get lol, the other two are in 3 gallons... i have a sharp smell of diesel when i enter the room then i get used to it quick and no longer smell it but it's only week 1 so that's good....it's been awhile since i grew a auto 😂👽

day 13 of flower i took off some leaves, the 1 gallon smart pots might prune the roots but it still caused a few yellow leaves the two in the 3 gallon smart pots are staying short took off a few leaves that was blocking bud sites, still dealing with high heat on a few days and a magnesium issue, i added more Epsom salt to my nutrients now to fix it, besides that that are staying small and halfway through the stretch so i am happy because i have a small tent 3x3 lol👽oh i will also up keep these on a veg nutrient cycle until after the 3rd week it seems to help them in the transition in my situation... i used to switch to flower nutrients right away but i think it's better to keep them on a veg nutrient feed schedule until end of week 2 of flower and in beginning of week 3 then i slowly switch to flower nutrients👽oh one last thing they are definitely putting on a strong smell had to hook up a filter to keep smell down lol i love the smell already

start of week 3 of flower and giving out a strong smell lol....dealing with high temps and not having calmag the whole grow has caused a few small issues but finally just got my cal-mag in the mail and just fed it's first dose of it today... i also noticed 2 out of the 3 plants that i had in the 1 gallon pots had yellowing of leaves i hope the cal-mag helps ... temps been mostly ok but on a few days i had my tent get 88 degrees which is just way too much heat lol, i added my inline fan and filter to get rid of the smell and it's helping get some of the hot air out so now it's mostly staying between 79 to 85 degrees i did take off many leaves but besides that just feeding and let them go...and the plants has my room smelling like gasolene mixed with a sweet smell .... i hate doing videos because my voice is not the best i did them hoping to win a prize in the 1 gallon competition by seedsman lol ... i know i have no chance but you never know these plants might turn out killer since i finally got some cal mag to add to the nutrients, i've never went a whole grow without cal-mag i usually have it around👍👽😀... still using the 20-6 light schedule still using lower than normal nutrients due to the heat making my plants drink more and the coco drying out faster, don't want to give my plants nut-lock... i will have to invest in a portable a/c unit or go led on next grow...or both

start of week 4 super strong smell wish everybody could smell them, as you see in the pic with the 1 gallon picture that the plant i didn't top is a week and a half ahead of the others ,shows with my style how much topping can stress a plant so i am not surprised, the two in the 3 gallon are getting big but they are also a week and half behind the one i didn't top from stress...besides that i figured for my style that if i ever use 1 gallon pots again i will not top them, if i use more then 1 gallon pots i will top them or at least lst them......i did have a episode this week where i forgot to test my ph when feeding and the ph was way too low so it yellowed some of the leaves which sucks... i flushed it tonight and fix it to the right ph so i hope next week looks better... this strain seems super stanky in a good way but not much crystals yet.... i think some strains don't get a bunch of crystals until the last few weeks, so at the end of the grow i plan on keeping them in darkness for a few days and adding some ice to the coco to stress them the last few days to see if i can get more trichomes....temperatures has been better but it sucks i forgot to ph the water feeding it really did hurt the growth and was not getting the nutrients due to the ph of the water being off.... these plants are tough to survive all the mess ups i did this time, i just been so busy at my job i wish i had more time to put in like i usually have they been giving us overtime at the job 80 hours per week so i just been exhausted lol, thanks for looking👍😃

well a new week and i'm starting to think the alaskan diesel auto has 2 phenomes.... the one is getting close to flush time the others seem to just be at the start of the buds fattening period, both phenomes have a really good smell one more fruity one more gassy.... the plants in the one gallon pots were getting too big to be in one gallon pots so i took off some of the leaves at the bottom hoping it helps at the top, the 3 gallon pots are just normal like they always grow, this is my first time in 20 years to grow anything in such a small pot as 1 gallon but i figured i'd give it a try...next grow i plan on just doing 4 plants in 3 gallon pots, i just did this 1 gallon grow for tat seedsman contest and just out of curiosity... i know if i ever do a 1 gallon grow again i will not top the plant just let it go naturally not enough root room to top 1 gallon plants like i did lol....anyways i'm having fun and it smells good, these are going to my uncle who just got out of the hospital when they are finished but i might keep one plant's worth ofr myself just to add to my flower collection... did i mention i love the smell of both phenomes of this strain? lol👌😀

well these are growing slower then i thought they would i think it might be from high heat and maybe even ph of the water....2 phenomes the one is almost finished while the others are just really starting to flower...the one almost finished smells like candy the others smell more like a diesel herb smell so i am guessing the fast finisher is the phenome with candy fruit auto genetics and the others are the phenome with the diesel genetics.... my guess is the fast finisher is more of a indica type while the others are more sativa leaning plants......i think my mistakes is making it take longer for buds to develop on the diesel phenome so that's all my fault but i've been so busy at my job i have not been able to do what i usually do when i grow so my ph has been off/temps too hot/overfeeding i am just messing up a lot but these plants are still alive so far lol😂 i'm a shy person so i do not like making videos but i tried anyways😅... and the smells of these are so good like a candy mixed with a diesel herb smell👍

well one of the plants is in it's last week before harvest the other plants have between 2 to 4 weeks left, i think they would of finished faster i didn't have them so stressed from high temperatures and they went a month or so without cal mag.... if it was not for them 2 things i have a feeling they all would be harvested within a week so that's my own fault....on a good note they are starting to get some decent trichomes and the smell is niceeee!.... i did chop the bottom branches of the one almost done and dried them ended up with 4 grams just to test out lol but i won't do that any more i was just curious and inpatient... the stuff i smoked tasted like candy and herbal and smelled diesel😀

well the first plant is done putting it in dark for 2 days then harvesting the other plants still have some time left...2 of the plants start flush this week the other 2 are not even close to done i believe because of stress from light burn and high temperatures....i'm surprised the size i got from the one that is finished seeing it is in a small 1 gallon smart pot.,....the one that is finished smells like candy mixed with a resin smell the plants still growing smell more like candy mixed with gas... i really messed up this grow from lights being too close to temps too high to not having cal-mag for over a month and the plants are still going strong with some leaf damage but no damage to the buds and the quality seems good... i did raise my lights up because these plants got tall i hope it helps, but i am still happy with the quality of the smoke even after all of my mistakes😀 this stuff will be going to my uncle which just got out of the hospital not long ago because he needs something more sativa-like i think he will be happy when he gets it... the finished plant has tons of trichomes on it but my camera sucks so it is not showing all the crystals i need a better camera lol😂

well i harvested another plant to dry today one of the 3 gallon plants (pics on diary)...the other 3 gallon plant is flushing got maybe a week or 2 left and the 2 one gallon plants that has not finished seems to be growing slow due to the stress i gave them so i might finish them outdoors next week just top clear out the tent for my next grow😀 i did try some of the first plant which is dried now and curing and gave me a uppity high at first within a few hours i was relaxed and hungry...tasted like candy/honey/diesel.... so yeah there are 3 phenomes of this what i got and the 3rd phenome takes forever to flower but the other 2 are fast, one phenome is more Indica, the other 2 are more satvia...the indica phenome more of a hone taste and candy pine smell...the sativa plants smell more diesel like... overall im surprised how good they turning out seeing that i didn't use any calcium or magnesium for over a month, dealt with high temps and dealt with the plants getting burned from being too close to the light and it still is turning out good👍 i put a 2 liter soda bottle in the pic to give you idea of the size they get a decent size for autos UPDATE: WENT AHEAD AND HARVESTED THE 3RD PLANT WHICH WAS IN A 3 GALLON BECAUSE THE TRICHOMES WERE MILKY WITH 15% AMBER,THE 3RD PLANT GREW TALL LONG BUDS AROUND 2 FEET LONG BUDS! LOOKS MORE LIKE A CACTUS THEN A WEED PLANT LOL...IT ALSO PURPLED OUT DURING FLUSH A LIL BIT, MY CAM,ERA SUCKS WISH IT WOULD PICK UP ALL THE CRYSTALS ON THE FLOWERS ... I GOT 2 MORE PLANTS LEFT BOTH IN 1 GALLON POTS GROWING SLOW DUE TO ME STRESSING THEM ALL GROW, I MIGHT GIFT THEM TO A FRIENDS BUT THE 3 PLANTS I JUST HARVESTED IS GOING TO MY UNCLE JUST OUT OF THE HOSPITAL FOR MEDICENE😀

well i messed up this grow majorly from not having cal-mag for the first month to heat issues and light burn i put these plants through a lot of stress, but they stayed female no hermie and they produced good bud at the end, i harvested at 20% amber trichomes , if i had a better environment these plants would of been twice as big i believe, plants are sticky and start putting out a strong gas smell about 3rd week of flower, since i stressed the plants so much 2 of the plants still has like 4 weeks left until harvest so i gifted them 2 plants for a friend to finish outdoors...over all off of 3 plants i got 180 grams of DRY buds and one of them plants was in a small 1 gallon pot😀 if you like gas smelling sativas that still has a lil bit of indica at the end of the high then this one would be nice for you👍😃 these main kolas on the plant were over 2 feet long!😀plants height all together got around 4 feet tall which is tall for a auto that was topped and LST
