Hello there... If you are a follower welcome back if you are new, then there is something you need to know about my journals. I will try a different method of growing in each of my grows. to take one for the team. This site has a lot of great information about growing obviously. But there is so much information on the net, a lot of myths and urban legends. I will take a chance to try them and document it for your information and maybe entertainment. As for me I'm a little outside the norm. I'll try different feeding styles Nutrients, media, light schedule etc. just to see what happens I always end up with a harvest of decent home grown and my friends never seem to complain of the quality. With hat said this grow will be a wicking bucket with autos and organic nutrients and 2 strains I have never grown before. sounds fun the odds are against me just the Rouge Squadron. and hence the name of the diary. more photos to come. beans went in paper towel 1/12/23 the force is 💪 with this one.
well, we are off and running. all I have added is rainwater. ph. at 7.0 this should be all they need, water when dry I will fill the buckets next week when the roots are a little more established. i was afraid the soils would be to hot but it looks like they are doing ok.
check in next week.
Well week 2 is here and gone. the dark devils are not as big as the red poisons but that doesn't mean much at the moment. we still got lots of weeks to go and the wicking buckets look like they are doing their job.
I am going to let the dark devils dry out a bit before I refill the reservoir. to see if the water is too much for that strain as it is the first time growing it. so, looking good so far, they are healthy for now no signs of hunger just water when needed at this point and look for signs of lock out or feeding issues cheers ya'all,
reach for the sky!! Holy cow these ladies are going off. watch the time-lapse the end of week 3 and the stretch begins.
the dark devils are showing the auto gene well they are stretching as well but not like the red poisons wow. going to le the dark devils dry out a little i think that strain does not like to much water. the red poisons are drinking like crazy. so already starting to flower at the end of week three. going to hold off on any flowering supplements for now to see if they are still eating the food that's in the mix still. cruising along see Ya next week.
Welcome back, Other that the time lapse looking like an earthquake went off the RED POISONS are kicking ass the DARK DEVILS did not respond as favorably to the super soil. look like N toxicity! I thought it might have been over watering, but I let them dry out a bit this week and let them use the water left in the soil instead of watering the reservoir again. the DARK DEVILS look liked they stretched this week and there is no sign of nutrient deficiency. give them a drink on Saturday and re hydrate the soil.👍
This is week 3 of flower and they are chuging along. I had to bring out the Dehumidifier to bring down the RH in the tent. I rewatered the Red Poisons first because they are the biggest and healthiest of the 6 I added in the water the BLOOM BOOSTER 0-10-10 early this week.
I wanted to see how they would respond to the added nutrients, and I wanted to make sure there was an available source of P and K as they are flowering harder now than last week. it looked ok so I did the same to the Dark Devils when I watered them.
The dark devils did not take to the super soil as well. I think N toxicity and that strain did not respond well to the amount of N I have in my soil. also, the time lapse failed💩 but I have a top view started for the week to come.
see you next week.
P.S. you should freshen up your buzz.
week four of flower I have a feeling these are going to be monsters. I have never had an Auto flower this big before all my other grows with then they have been on the smaller side.
so far, they look like they are going strong adding bulk and one is starting to fade in the fan leaves using up the N as the plant needs it.
I did do some defoliation. on some fan leaves bigger than my hand this was the warehouse for the nutrients it has been grabbing from the soil. I might do 1 more round of Bloom booster and a Cal mag. the stems are pretty strong and are holding the weight of the buds well.
nothing needs to be supported at the moment.
cheers all
P.S, Roll 2 fatties.
Hello there. week 7 from seed and it looks like sweet seeds knows what They are talking about. 8-8.5 weeks to harvest looks like we are on track. I added a little bloom booster 2 weeks ago back-to-back weeks, and I thought I fucked up the PH.
Leaves turning yellow looked like a lock out. Come to find out these are super-fast flowering. so, it is at the end of its life cycle. It is my first time with these genetics, and I am very impressed.
I made a pretty hot super soil from what I can deduce. From what I have seen in other recipes, and the wicking buckets were a new twist instead of fabric pots. and they took to it like fish to water. 3 of them the red poison did very well.
the dark devil is not as tall but the color and smell or the stuff of legend. In My humble opinion. loos like the will come down next week no more water as the buckets are heavy. They should use up the water in the super soil and then 48hr of dark.💪
p.s. It is International Womens month.
tell your favorite girl how awesome she is.
and take a bong rip.
slow release nuitrients and the wicking bucket are all i will ever grow with from here on out. this is by far my favorite low stress set it and forget it method. just add water.
love this strain big feeder and loved the super soil. I would run these again if i had the Chace goo yield for an auto flower. had 2 different pheno types one vert sativa the others Indica heavy.
