The plant is responding very well to the treatments and the more time passes, the stronger it proves to be. During the week I cut the main branches two more times, resulting in 8 main branches. I could go on like this indefinitely but I'd say it's enough. Next week I will consider whether to get to 16 branches or stop there and let the plant grow up to the scrog net. If you use a main-lining tecnique I advise you to always be very careful when working on the plant, because the branches are very delicate and could break: the goal is always to have all the branches equal at the same distance from the lamp, so as to have only perfectly identical buds. At the last cut I also thought of keeping the cut material to make clones. I planted them in the same soil of the mother plant so that they absorb humidity well: if they don't dry out in a week, it means they are alive and I will transplant them. I know it's not the best technique, but i really don't care about making clones. I don't have space to grow them together with the mother, so I'll give them away just in case. I stopped using root fertilizer this week, it's no longer needed. I'm very curious to see how it will grow!
Last time I did an excellent Main-lining on a grad daddy fast I achieved almost 64 collas. 1 plants over 1kg dry. No joke. I belive depend from the strain. How fast and well cope with all the cut. Good luck bello. Looks good. Push until you happy ๐
@Ganja_Victoria_Aus,Woow! ๐ฅ I agree with you, it's fantastic to double the main branches until you have huge numbers ๐ค๐ป In this case I'll stop at 8 because the rest of the work to fill the whole grow box will be done through the scrog net
If you don't mind, I would love to know your nutrient schedule and amounts! You have a fantastic result! Ive been using General Hydroponics brand for soil feeding and I have way too many nutrient issues. Seems like Advanced Nutrients are the fav on this site. Any guidance would be awesome. Thank you!
