So this week buds been growing nicely on the two gorillas but wedding cake still lacking alot so it just got a good trim/defoliation today
nutrients remain same seems to work fine for the gorillas and i dont bother makeing two solutions i think ill just get 3 of same kind next time but it was a free seed and my first 3 i started died before light arrived
Light is 19 hrs on and 5 off now instead of 24/7 shuts off in most expensive hrs so both good for wallet and plants ..
the middle one is the wedding cake ..
They are currently 44 days old, popped up 1st Dec.
iam thinking changeing to less to light thinking 18/17 hrs only, any recommendations ?
also any other criticism welcome.
They will definitely benefit from having some down-time... 18/6 is good, I wouldn't go lower than 18.
My only other thought here is that this is a pretty dense jungle and it might be good to do a little defoliation - definitely taking some fan leaves that are covering bud sites and also improving the air flow through everything... you don't want to run the risk of bud rot! I'd also try to get the humidity down into the 40s for the same reason...
I think everything else looks terrific and you should be happy! Good luck the rest of the way!
if anyone have some tips / experience with the barney´s wedding cake auto any comments would be appreciated, worried its growing so slow compared to the gorilla girls ...
I honestly wouldn't compare the two strains in terms of growth! They both look healthy - some strains are just naturally smaller/shorter than others! I've got two going now - OGKush and Gorilla Glue... the OG is MUCH bigger/denser than the GG and that's just fine with me. Consider this - not all kids in a family are the same height or weight, right? I mean "Johnny" at 5 years old might be much taller than "Jimmy" was when he was 5 years old... They're individuals. So are plants... even if they're the same strain from the same breeder bought at the same time...
Good luck - they look great!
yeah our setup is similar with the lights, but my tent is quite a bit bigger than your space and ive basically decided 1 plant per light is more optimum, even with my extra space, this is just my take I could see you running into issues late flower with how you are a the moment because the left and right plants are growing into walls and the middle plant will be lacking light and trying to stretch towards your leds, personally I run my lights 24 hours because you will get a little more growth each day if the light is on 20 hours at least, people who say plants need "rest time" its not really accurate, if there is light the plant will photosynthisise and if there is none it wont, its a plant not a person, 24 hours of light causes no real down side as autoflowers are not photosensitive. This is of course my opinion but I have done a lot of reading and sifted through a lot of opinions and this has been my personal experience with indoor autos too so I will continue with that. Dont go below 18 hours ever its the minimum they need. Your grow looks great though honestly otherwise you might need to do a big defoliate to help airflow, next one maybe consider less plants and a net and I bet you would get same/better yield :) happy growing light bro.
Sick grow, my guy :) 😎 mine came down last week, Gonna start some sweet seeds myself soon but im taking a little break for a few weeks cause im all stocked up on Mephisto :) You look a couple weeks off well played!
