I forgot to mention in the granny's Apple Fritter and star Dust diaries that I also used No Till Solutions Quillaja.
I topped the hell out of these two plants during veg because I seen from the last one just how much it can stretch. Did some super cropping on a few branches just to even out the canopy.
Next week will be defoliation.
Defoliation this week. Stretching nicely. Seems topping before flower wasn't a bad idea for this stretchy strain.
Half gallon of R/O water every two days.
Just water this week. The smells are not very strong but they are different compared to the last one that I grew. It seems these ones may just have more of the lemon to them rather than a more floral scent. The number two up front looks like it is going to be a smaller bud producer and comparison to the number three which looks like it will be a lot chunkier.
Starting to gain mass. Buds are already hard as a rock. Both of these are relatively close to each other for smell, but completely different from the first one I grew, which was more of a apple pastry that after cured smelled like grapefruit. They are also very similar to Elev8s' Apple Pucker. I am happy with how these are turning out and I am excited for the near future.
Not overly impressed so far. #2 has really tiny buds, but smells quite nice. #3 is bulking up, but doesn't have an overly pleasing scent. 🧐 I would have though with how old this strain is it would have breed to be homogeneous and they all be very very very similar to each other.
Not sure if I will run this strain again. Grew three from seed and all different. 1 was pretty frosty, greasy and excellent yield. These two, meh. They're ok.
@Happy_Roots,i hear you two, but after i switched to dwc ive reached up to 567g on a sour diesel plant so its hard to go back now area of scrog is 140 wide and 80cm deep if thats the correct way to say it 🤓 this was under a sf4000 only 1. This round ive added a 240w led extra to boost the current grow though 🙂 what kind of yields is to be expected from your set up?

You are gonna love reusing soil, I can definitely get your costs down with starting with one or two ferments at first, that will get you right for the low 💰
#2 looks like what i think of SLH. that strain was always "meh" to me but the more i smoked it, the more i actually ended up liking it ! hopefully its the same for you :)
