Popped them in warm water for 24 hours and put them into root riot pods, 12 of the 14 popped and I'm not surprised that the two that didnt pop... didnt. They looked kind of immature before I planted them but I thought I would give it a shot. Planted 2 Purple sunset as backup so they are a few days behind the others. Shooting for a shorter veg cycle this grow so hopefully it wont make a difference. Nervous about the variety in a single grow but very excited to see all these different strains.
We left them in 1/2 gallon buckets way too long, they were definitely starting to slow growth due to the size of the container. So we upgraded them to 3 gallon cloth buckets and they are just exploding. We also left them in the 2x4 a little bit too long so they started growing upwards more. Pics of them in the 8x8 to come. Soon we are going to have to defoliate again, because they are getting BUSHY!
The stretch is long over, and boy did they stretch. Starting to see some stacking colas on the purple sunsets. They might need to be harvested earlier than the others which could create a problem, my second tent is full of Ethos Cookies crosses that look like they might go 9-10 weeks and these purple flamingos could easily go 9 as well. Jury is still out on the lemon berry candy OG though, might be early night be late, idk. The smells in here are out of this world, the lemon berry candy OG smells like a grape member berry, which is odd because I have a grape member berry pheno (grape diamonds) in here that doesn't smell like a whole lot yet. Oh, worst thing going on is I have one LBCOG that appears to have been over watered around week 3 or 4. Not sure what I did, maybe it was just drinking less than the others and got water logged, maybe the roots got a little damaged from it. It doesn't seem to be getting any worse, it'll limp along and probably only yield me a couple of ounces (if I'm lucky). Looking like a massive yield coming in from the BBC x MAC though. I gave her a lot of space, about a 2x4 space all to herself and she is filling it out well.
