emeraldlabs Quite pleased with the week of growth. She got a deep watering shortly after today’s pictures were taken. Debating either topping or super cropping this girl. Kind of sold in trying super cropping for the first time, but still have a few days to decide, and how she grows over those few days may make the choice for me. Plan to move light a bit closer this week as well.

emeraldlabs Super cropped her on day 17 and she hasn’t missed a beat. Slowly lowering light, now that I bought a PAR meter, but being cognizant that there are a few younger plants in the tent. Removed the lowest leaves as they were touching the soil. May need to remove some of these jumbo fan leaves to get better light distribution for this girl. She’s in FFOF, but trying some other plants in roots organic, which unfortunately has me dealing with a fungus gnat issue, hence the sticky trap. Looking forward to future development with this girl!

emeraldlabs This happy girl has exploded in the last week. Transitioning to flower. A lot of LST and a little bit of defoliation this week. She’s been responding well to whatever has been throw her way.

emeraldlabs This girl is a monster! Just towering over everyone else in the tent. She’s gotten pretty damn close to the light, but not showing any signs of stress from it (so far). She’s also to the side a bit which may be helpful there. Considering super cropping her again to get a more even canopy.

emeraldlabs Alright, so I super cropped this girl again on day 36. Was thinking I did it a few days too late, but she’s responded well. Will monitor her closely, it I imagine I’ll be feeding her before long. Looking forward to this girl filling in.

emeraldlabs UPDATE: this girl was chopped on 4/18/23, 81 days after soil was broken. Be back in 8 weeks with a review!
So from looking at other diaries, and overall experience, pretty confident I got a funky pheno here. Hardly any hairs at all. But she does look and smell great. Starting to see some amber so we’re definitely getting close!

Very late on this update. Awesome, but weird plant. Had little to no hair and the buds were almost entirely bracts. Research suggests this was a sterile plant. Smelled and tasted exactly like pineapples. Have a friend that has smoked 40+ years and this made his Mount Rushmore of weed. All in all, a great grow.
