Week 2 in the books. I’m going to start low stress training soon but not sure exactly when, likely this week. Let me know what you think in the comments. This is still my first grow and I’m working on getting the hang of things.
I noticed the ph of the runoff of my plant was consistently coming in 6.4-6.6 and from what I read should be more between 5.9-6.2 at this stage so I used ph down on the hulkberry on her most recent watering. New ph was 6.2-6.3.
Hulkberry is still appearing to be thriving the most with the largest leaves and longest stem, but critical+ 2.0 appears to be coming back strong. The wedding glue is a little on the small side, even compared to the critical+ and I think the critical is larger now than the wedding glue.
I’ve started watering every 3-4 days, just based off when the first inch or so of soil has dried up.
Let me know what y’all think of the yellow dots on that one hulkberry leaf, when I should start LST, and just how the grow is coming along based on how it should be looking at this stage, any comments help!
Should I defoliate the remaining primarily yellow-brown, water stress damaged leaves on the hulkberry, or are they functioning and contributing to the growth of the plant and not harming it?
Believe it or not they are contributing to photosynthesis. The green parts at least.
What I like to do is just take my snips and clip off the burnt edges.
Hope this helps.
