Applied LST to the Hulkberry yesterday, and today to the Critical+ 2.0. Will do the Wedding Glue tomorrow. I bent the critical more than the hulkberry, let me know if the hulkberry bend wasn’t enough to have the desired effect of exposing lower growth to light. In my opinion, it may be helping but not much. Just not sure if I should bend it more or wait for it to grow and apply a second round of LST and bend another direction.
Overall the plants seem to be coming along nicely. I’ll introduce their first nutes at the end of this week one they’ll have been in the soil for 4 weeks.
Should I defoliate the remaining primarily yellow-brown, water stress damaged leaves on the hulkberry, or are they functioning and contributing to the growth of the plant and not harming it?
Believe it or not they are contributing to photosynthesis. The green parts at least.
What I like to do is just take my snips and clip off the burnt edges.
Hope this helps.
