Cherry Pie A combination of Cherry AK and Purple Punch. The Indica-dominant hybrid is short, compact and produces large, hard buds with beautiful purple-blue hues. The taste is smooth and velvety, with a distinct hint of cherry. The effect is balanced and combines a euphoric, creative high with physical, deep relaxation. Perfect for all-day use. Type of flowering: Photoperiod Type of variety: Feminized Flowering: 8-10 weeks Indoor Height: 80-120 cm Indoor Yield: 450-650gsm THC: 15+% Taste: Skunk, Cherry 1/29 - I received seeds from Ganja Farmer and chose Cherry Pie to grow first. I picked the best-looking seed of the three provided (they all looked great) and placed it in a paper towel with some dehydrated Aloe flakes to aid germination, Beauveria Bassiana Plus, a fungus that infects soft bodied insects that bite the plant to become food for the plant shortly thereafter, and Rootwise Mycrobe Complete as inoculants. These inoculants should give the seedling an advantage as I will be placing the seed into a 40-gallon soil bed containing Build a Soil 3.0 that has had its cover crop smothered and covered with a layer of barley straw mulch. I folded the paper towel and moistened it with water retrieved from newly fallen snow after warming it to room temperature. I placed the paper towel in a Ziploc bag to wait until germination in a tent that averages 80 degrees F. 1/31 - Germination occurred and I was careful to plant the seed into the soil and barely cover the seed in soil so it can breakthrough with little difficulty. My bed is prepared as it contains re-amended soil from previous grows. I re-amended with worm castings from Michigan Worm Works and Build a Soil Craft Blend. I also have been watering with aged tap water and had this setup for 6 weeks prior to using. I have added 150 or so red wigglers and grew a cover crop of dicone radish and terminated the crop. I allowed the microbes and worms to chew through that crop and then added a top 2-inch layer of fresh Build a Soil 3.0 soil. I topped that with a barley straw mulch cover to hold moisture and protect the topsoil. Can't wait to see the results! 2/1 - Noted that topsoil was dry under mulch layer. Watered in one gallon of aged tap water with 1/16 tsp of Jay Plantspeaker's Quillaja Saponaria Extract Powder 20 as a wetting agent. 2/4 - The first set of leaves have emerged. Looking forward to starting further growth. Watered in one gallon of aged tap water with 1/16 tsp of Jay Plantspeaker's Quillaja Saponaria Extract Powder 20 as a wetting agent.

2/5 - Added humidity and awaiting further growth. Seedling took a couple of days to sprout from soil after germinating in paper towel. Seedling looks healthy. Looking forward to the week's growth! 2/8 - Watered in one gallon of water with wetting agent and an ounce of insect frass and comfrey extracts. 2/11 - Watered in one gallon of water with wetting agent. _________________________________ Anxious seedlings rise Leaves met with warming glow Convert light to feed _________________________________

2/11 - Most amazing seedling growth I have experienced. This little girl must be liking her environment. Awaiting an ECOWITT moisture meter to provide better info on moisture level of the forty-gallon bed. 2/14 - Added one gallon of aged tap water with ferments and coconut powder (microbes hungry). Ferments used are comfrey and whey/kefir probiotics. She is growing a new set of leaves every twenty-four hours and praying. 2/15 - Received Ecowitt Moisture meter and installed to provide live soil moisture percentages. I noted after installation that my Earthbox and the 40-gallon raised bed was around 24%. I pushed one gallon into each and brought the percentage up to 35% which is optimal. Hopefully, this tool will allow for precise watering and not based solely on plant observations or reservoir quantities. 2/18 - Added one gallon of aged tap water with coconut powder (microbes hungry). She is in vigorous veg mode. _____________________________ Youthful energy Turbid development now Moist environment ------------------------------

Momentous week. Keeping VPD in the green and it shows. Also utilizing precision watering with the addition of an Ecowitt Moisture meter that live streams Temp, RH, Barometric Pressure along with moisture. As you can see, huge broad leaves with new leaves growing every day. I mixed a gallon of aged tap water with one oz of Yah Whey probiotic, and coconut powder, and watered in 3/4 cup of Buildasoil Gnarly Barley that I milled down to powder. I sprinkled the mixture over the entire bed. The moisture is at 38 percent. Can't wait to see what the plant looks like tomorrow 2/20 - Topped plant to slow her down a bit and allow energy to the side branching. Defoliated, taking off leaves blocking side branches. --------------------------- First topping today Defoliated eight leaves Tomorrow, she prays -------------------------- 2/24 - 36-hour power outage caused plant to be plunged into darkness and 55-degree F temperatures. I'll take a photo tomorrow after she gets 12 hours light and some warmth. She still is standing tall! 2/25 - One day after power outage. No issues noted. Defoliated top set of leaves to allow for exposure to light on canopy. Added temperature, humidity and soil moisture recordings.

Great week although a cool one due to the power outage last week. Temperatures go down to 63 degrees but not as cool as the 53 degrees during outage. I would say this girl does not mind the cold. Added one gallon of water, with Big 6, coconut powder, saponin wetting agent, microbe complete, OptiVeg and an ounce of Yah Whey probiotic. She is incredibly happy and healthy and now her thirst has been quenched as moisture was reduced to 11%. After watering, we are up to 33-40% as I have two meters in the tent. W4D24 - Noting she was getting bushy and new tops were covered by leaves, I defoliated key leaves to allow light exposure to new growth and started training with landscape staples and soft gardening wires. _______________________________ No power, no heat Darkness fell unto the plant Nature protected _______________________________

Good week except for the power outages that lasted on and off through the week. Challenging week for power! Ice storm, snowstorm and sleeting took its toll on this girl but was kind to the buds I harvested last week. I gave the gal one gallon of water with wetting agent, coconut powder, and some Big 6 micronutrients. Soil moisture meters working great! Will put in flower after I train and then I'll use scrog after removing humidifier to place in other tent to start VEG with new strain. _______________________________ Training for flowers Prep is paramount today Blooming will result -------------------------------- 3/8 - Gave the girl a drink of water once moisture meter fell to 22 percent. Holding off to Scrog until next week. Will have to lollipop soon as it is getting difficult to water. 😁 3/9 - Placed Scrog net and tucked stems. I ended up splitting the main stem. Used elastic garden wire to secure. Defoliated old fan leaves blocking bud sites. She should bounce back fast. 3/11 - Gave the girl a drink once moisture meter fell to 21 percent. Lollipopped a little to make watering easier.

Another fun week. No power outages. Training will continue as I push the branches under the scrog net. Placed lights on light schedule for 12 hours starting today. Main stem split healing nicely as the split is no longer visible and the branches had no ill affect. I'll keep the plant wired for another week or so... Will provide the next feeding to include BuildASoil BuildABloom. No need to top dress as there is plenty of amendments in the soil that microbes are breaking down. Providing BuildABloom for micronized water-soluble calcium. _______________________________ Light schedule to twelve The buds will soon develop In time, flowers grow -------------------------------- 3/15 - Gave the girl a drink. One gallon of water with wetting agent, Thrive Probiotic, Big 6 Micronutrients, coconut powder and BuildASoil BuildABloom. Brought much needed moisture as meter had dropped to 20%.

Still training for flower, pushing branches under the net. Gave the girl a drink as well as moisture meters noted 20% moisture level in the bed. Coconut powder, saponin, BuildABloom and Thrive probiotics. She should enjoy that feeding. 3/22 - Gave her another drink, Coconut powder, saponin, and BuildABloom at reduced levels. The moisture meter at 20%, is a great indicator to water. As she grows over the scrog, I pull her under. Will continue to maintain... 3/25 - Gave her another drink, Coconut powder, saponin, and BuildABloom at reduced levels. _________________________ Flowers coming soon! Another trouble-free week. I'm liking the 40-gallon bed as all I need to do is water. Flowers are starting to form and when moisture meter triggers at 20% moisture, I'll water in another gallon. Good news on the rain barrel. I set it up in time for a couple well timed rainstorms so I will now be using rainwater in lieu of tap water. 3/28 - Gave her another drink at 20%. One gallon of water with saponin, coconut powder, BuildABloom, Opti-Veg, Mycrobe Complete, and BlueGold Fusion FLWR. Brought meter up to 40% and will water again at trigger moisture rate of 20%. 3/31 - Gave her another drink at 20%. One gallon of water with saponin, coconut powder, BuildABloom, Opti-Veg, Mycrobe Complete, and BlueGold Fusion FLWR. _________________________ Flowers develop Maturing to reproduce. Uneventful week, attempting to keep defoliated to let the air and light through and maintain canopy with training. Flowers are developing quite quickly. This grow seems but a blink of the eye. 4/4 - Gave the girl a drink as she dried out to 19% soil moisture. I gave her a drink of aged tap water (finishing that off to transition to rainwater), coconut powder, wetting agent, BuildABloom, and Mycrobe complete. Will be the last feeding of Mycrobe complete. Trichomes are developing and we are starting to get an odor from the flowers. Cleaned up canopy to reveal COLAs starting to stack and bulk up. _____________________________________ Life is truly short Seeds become plants and mature Harvest the flowers ____________________________________

Uneventful week. Cleaned up canopy and Lolli popped. Plant is extremely healthy and reminds me of a freight train to maturity. I'm using rainwater now to drench. Trichomes are forming on all buds and look like sugar sprinkled on leaves. 4-5 weeks to go! Also programmed a MIGRO UVB-310 ultraviolet light to enhance the trichome and taste. Set for 10 minutes a day until we are about 3 weeks out. I will revise the program to advance up to 1 hour each mid light cycle until harvested. 4/15 - Gave her another drink. Just rainwater, wetting agent, and coconut powder from here on out... ----------------------------- UV the flowers Higher trichome densities Terpenes enhanced -----------------------------

56-63 days to flower. Only one to two weeks left. Another trouble-free week. I am providing a little more water than I had in the past. Provided another drink on 4/23, as the plant looked like she could use more water. Wetting agent, coconut powder, BuildABloom and some Big 6 micronutrients. 4/25 - Another drink. Coconut powder, wetting agent, BuildABloom, BlueGold Fusion FLWR and Amino Acid Chelated Liquid Calcium. Something new I am trying. 4/28 - Gave her another drink. Just rainwater, wetting agent, and coconut powder until harvest 😊 ____________________________________ She wants more water Bulking Buds need more moisture All part of the plan -------------------------------------

Last week was great. Noticing bed is drying out more frequently. Will need to keep close eye on moisture. Provided another gallon of rainwater, coconut powder and wetting agent. I don't have long before harvest. 5/4 - Buds are coloring up. Trichomes are transitioning from clear to cloudy. Turned off the daily UVB exposure. Won't be long... 5/5 - She's thirsty. Last watering until harvest? Trichomes are cloudy. ______________________________ Wait for buds to bulk Water is key. Buds grow up Maturity soon! ------------------------------

Also noted no fade at this time. Trichomes clear/cloudy. I'll let her finish! 5/16 - nice mix of 10% amber to cloudy trichomes. She finished. Will add a few pics of trichomes and then will harvest!

Growing was straight forward. No surprises! This strain is easy to train and wonderful to smell. Tropical overtones and clean flavors. Sweet, but not too sweet. Helps me stay in focus and gives you the munchies! Plant structure is perfect, capable of holding up the buds without fail. Strong smell and taste of cherries, and the most colorful buds, bringing the consumer the best of strains. The taste is clean, and smoke is smooth and velvety, with a clearly noticeable cherry note. The effect is balanced, helping me focus on work and allows creativity and relaxation.😁

Can't believe the output. She stinks to high heaven. Thick COLAS with firm dense buds and a tropical smell. 247 grams and she dried beautifully. 60 degrees at 60% RH. Buds are tight and firm. Smaller buds are actually tight also and hard as a rock. Smells of cherry and some tropical tones. Easiest grow I had, just watered. Can't wait to allow it to cure for a few months.
