I use roots organic and have also dealt with fungus gnats in their soil a few times. However, I still really like their dirt and have had great success with it once I took some additional steps before planting. I learned my lesson a few cycles ago and started sterilizing the soil in the pots before planting sprouts using boiling water. I grow in 3 gallon fabric pots. So, I fill each pot up with soil and then I pour 1-2L of boiling water in each pot. I let the pots rest and cool overnight before planting sprouts the next morning. This approach has a few added benefits in addition to keeping pests out of the grow room. First, it provides water for early seedlings. Second, it helps keep humidity in the grow room high, which is ideal for young plants.

@shadybojangles, yeah I’ve been considering using boiling water or a mosquito dunk before sowing next run

@DotMinatrix, smells good… kind of sweet and earthy. Reminds me of the Spanish moon strain I ran previously.
