She is comming along. Cut a piece of one of the leaves. Very minor. Taking a minute to bounce back from the transfer. Not as big as her sister, ms. Charlottes angel. No nutes except for small dose of bio roots. Haven't watered since day 11.

Well, I have gone and completely embarrassed myself. Seriously made an ass out of myself. I cant take back what I wrote, but I can learn from this. My apologies to dutch passion for even beginning to doubt the quality of their product. Wow, I must have looked like suck a nube with that last post. I just dont want to be on pain killers anymore and over analyzed the whole situation. I went to give her some light tucking and check on the lst and what do you know...she showed me her little hairs and I told her I was sorry for ever doubting her. Now that that is past me I can't wait to see what she has in store for me. Super bushy and dense. Today is day 27 I believe. Will update again soon. Thank you Mr. Beef Wellington for not laughing me out of this site for being such a nube Peace y'all

@Rezdestroyer, sounds perfect. At least you have a handle on it. (I dried my basin out because I didn't understand how much they start to feed).

@BeefWellingtons, thanks. Yes, I did notice the droopy leaves. I should have watered one day sooner as the day before those pics, she was still perky. Watering was around 4-5 days but now that she is really taking off it will be every 2-3 days. I usually go by the weight of the container before the leaves get droopy. I'm positive there is no over watering. Just trying to get used to the change. Also, I added my second light last week so the combination of photosynthesis, increaded heat, and increased size, she will be getting thirstier by the day. Thanks to the heads up. I will try to stay on top of the water going forward.

@Rezdestroyer, No one will lol at you on here. We are not born with the ability to grow cannabis, it is a learning process. I did the exact same thing on my first plant. And sometimes a regular seed gets in the fem seed bag from time to time. Anyhow, how often are you giving her a watering, cause it's either too much or not enough as your leaves are a little droopy imo?

Hey man looking good so far I guess this is your first? I’ve had this problem with autos many times lime green means N defeciency and could also be from the lights being too close too intense... ofc so many variables, but from experience autos seem to like more nitrogen throughout the whole life... as the plant photosynthesises it’s using nitrogen if there is not enough it will use the stores if you look most info says plant yellows from the bottom up so to speak. but I’ve found more rapidly from the areas with most light (indoor only). I think of it like in stages if top leaves can’t access nitrogen from the roots it will take it from the set bellow or closest more like a chain reaction which is why the whole plant is starting to go lime green. And the bottom leaves are most effected because they are being leached by the whole plant first. In soil, get yourself some beneficial bacteria and fungi this will give you incredible results. Some bottled nutrient lines contain these “bennies” however it’s not in the amount you want, a cheaper alternative is to buy Earth Worm Castings EWC and some packs containing a powdered beneficial bacteria/fungi; which you can then brew into a tea. Brewing a tea rather than just adding 1-2ml/l of some watered down crap is much more cost effective. This multiples the beneficial bacteria into the billions over a 24hr period. You can then fridge that tea for 10 days diluting it to the required amount for example 1cup per gallon of water... if you want more info ask! If you already know this F>€% sorry feel like an idiot haha

@Rezdestroyer, all good man, I was just browsing and came across you’re diary. The thing I like about soil is it’s like a living thing itself, you should treat it as part of the plant. Too much salts can cause N lockout be sure to water with a large volume of water before adding any chemical bottled non organic nutrients. Where are you located?
Rezdestroyer
Rezdestroyercommented6 years ago
@PharmaZ, wow! That's a whole lot of info! Thank you. That is so helpful. I have not heard of most that. I have been adding kombucha and I know that is not the correct type of probiotic but I figure something is better than nothing. I want to make the tea for sure. Its sound great and I would prefer that over some bottled stuff sitting around for who knows how long. I have never heard of the autos needing nitrogen throughout. It makes sense because after stopping my bio grow she began to loose color and I moved the light up a few days ago and she doesnt look as pale. Thanks again man. I'm going to try and fix the nitro def soon.

Still trying to figure out how to use the nutes correctly. I know she doesn't need em yet but I want to wean them in. I'm using Go box from general organics. My first time using any real nutrients. I feed her at 1/8 strength in 1/8 gallon water.

She looks great. Good job! Looking at yours I may skip the FIM and just go LST for less stress. I am afraid mine will get to tall, but you are making me 2nd guess. Great job, can't wait to see the outcome.

Another question. If my intake air is around 62 degrees average at night, is that too low? I have the two leds running which seem to warm the tent back up to about 70 degrees but the intake hits my plants first as it comes in from the bottom of the tent. Is that too cold initialy?
BeefWellingtons
BeefWellingtonscommented6 years ago
@Rezdestroyer, awesome, glad you figured it out!

Rezdestroyercommented6 years ago
@BeefWellingtons, thanks. It did. So I realized that this whole time she was neither over or underwatered. The reason she was so droopy despite the waterings was because the humidity was too high. It makes sense because I started to see perspiration on the leaves. My other girl hasnt suffered at all because she doesnt have many leaves but the six shoother is so dense, no air could get through. I increased the outtake fan and put an additional fan aimed at her from the top of the tent and everything is back to normal. She is as happy as can be. Thanks for all the help. Next weeks pics will look much better.

Can anyone tell me why she seems so much happier early in the morning ? My other plant, cbd, has not been affected at all by the change in temperature and humidity. Should I consider some Defoliation? Thanks
OneDude
OneDudecommented6 years ago
@Rezdestroyer, I will say something "general" but obviously everything is a bit complicated and interconnected :) Low night temperatures give a better taste. Too much fertilizer will affect badly the taste. Temperature and humidity can vary a lot in a small room if there is no proper air movement (i am not speaking about extraction/intake, just the internal movements of air). Plants are a lot like pumps and somehow like absorbing paper. Minerals concentrations and evaporation speed from leaves will influence how easy a plant can feed, underfeed, overfeed. There is a trade off between temperature and photosynthetic efficiency.

@BeefWellingtons, the 6.1 is what I watered at last, the runoff was 6.4. Yeah, your right about the bio roots and bio marine, according to G.O. feed schedule, this was the last week of using the bio roots. I will cut out the bio marine soon too. Yes, the nutes are every other watering as I was only watering about every 5 to 7 days but now that they are begining to drink more I will be going water, water, feed. I will look into the ceramic and the hang bags, havent heard of them. Would you recommend that over a small dehumidifier? Also, I find it odd that my plant looks best when the humidity is at its highest and temp at its lowest. Weird right? Thanks for all the great info by the way!!
BeefWellingtons
BeefWellingtonscommented6 years ago
@Rezdestroyer, it sounds like you have the watering down, even though it looks like overwatering. You posted 6.1 ph, try to get 6.5 for soil. Your daytime high temp looks good, and your nighttime is a little low (maybe ceramic heater to keep low temps at 68f)? I would also get some dehumidifier hang bags in there as the humidity is kinda high, especially since you are in flower. Hope you figure it out. Good luck! Update: took a look at your nutrients. You can stop with bio roots and bio marine and up the bloom a little bit. I'm wondering here, you are burning your plants with too much nutrients. Those extra nutrients you are giving them are burning them. Are you on water, water, feed schedule? If yes, dial back those two things I mentioned. You are not giving nutrients every feeding correct? Please confirm.

I would aim a small fan at the pot, rather than the top to try to dry it out faster, but you would have to keep rotating it and I have no idea how that could further damage your plant.
BeefWellingtons
BeefWellingtonscommented6 years ago
@Rezdestroyer, yeah, that would be really bad. Probably just going to have to wait it out and see what happens. You could lift it up, dry off the tray and put some paper towels under to absorb more moisture?
Rezdestroyer
Rezdestroyercommented6 years ago
@BeefWellingtons, thanks. Yeah, I have it on full blast aimed at the bottom of the fabric. Maybe I should turn it down. I dont want to dry the roots out.

They are Stipules you are seeing not pre flowers on most , Your plants are too young and only starting to get pre flowers, The fact that you think you can smell its male gives me serious doubts over your experience , As there is no difference in veg between male and females smell , The little pre flowers you have in pic 4 100% looks female , Another few days and you will see I suggest you chill out and ask on here before making decisions over feed ect , You seem a little to hyped up or nervous to make big decisions Just relax , I will give you a follow & any advice if i can ,
Lovebud
Lovebudcommented6 years ago
@Rezdestroyer, I Wasn't trying to be rude , just stating facts , Your that on edge you were prepared to kill and replace the plant for no reason what so ever, I didn't say you were not doing a gr8 job , Just stating that some of your assumptions are WAY off especially regarding smell , Ive been growing 14 years and still learn stuff every grow with every strain Either way take my advice or not it makes no difference to me . I just seen a guy who basically just needs a little guidance to prefect his grow and needed to "relax" and enjoy growing his medication , Thats all dude
Rezdestroyer
Rezdestroyercommented6 years ago
@Lovebud, thanks for the advice but I dont care what you think about my experience. If you read my posts on here you would know that this is only my third grow and I'm doing great given that. As for the smell, that is my opinion. Yeah, i am on edge as fuck as I am in constant pain due to 3 herniated disks in my cervical spine so forgive me if I get super hyped up and worried about loosing the only medicine that works for me. Although you may have some solid advice to give, if its going to be condescending, you can keep it to yourself.
