Was planning to run a phenohunt of some Sweet Cheese. Had to cull the clones due to travel issues, but luckily gave a buddy a clone to maintain our favorite pheno.
The stretch came on strong the second week of flower. Had to bump the feed up and give them a bit more water each time to keep them happy. 1st dripper installed (added another for better coverage...an issue I need to address in future grows).
Pictures 1 and 2 are pre and post thinning (defoliation). The gals responded really well to high stress techniques and would throw new leaves within 24 hrs of defoliation. Resin production really took off during weeks 3-4 and continued till the end.
Phenotype 4 shot up an extra 4-5 inches during her stretch. All others stayed relatively the same height; however, phenotype 1 bushed out and overtook phenotypes 2 and 3 which were leggier with way less off branching. Each pheno began developing their own unique smells. Phenos 2 and 3 reminded me of sour skittles with a funky blue cheese finish. Pheno 1 was a bit lacking but had a spicier gas like scent. Pheno 4 was straight butyric acid (vomit) with a big gassy fruit finish. All the girls had great resin production; however pheno 3 was throwing a bit too many sugar leaves for my liking. The other three girls seems to have better bract to leaf ratios.
