Ok, it's 12.02.2023. My Shaman strain from Dutch Passion is about 3-4 weeks from being harvested. I want to cut some time off the waiting, so I have started germinating Auto Mokum Tulip from Dutch Passion. I have a smaller grow box (my first ever) where she will be growing for the next 3-4 weeks. Then I will transplant her to the main grow box. So far, so good.
Why this strain?
Well, for some reason it's one of the most expensive seeds on the website (I don't know if it's THE most expensive, but it's up there), and I got it for free? How could I resist that ;p. But for real, I have chosen it because of the terpene profile that is shown on the website. I wanted something sweet, and i know that it is wierd but, the name itself ? I didnt know that "Mokum" means Amsterdam in hebrew. Thats cool. Now i wonder if there are other names for that City.
In this run i will try diffrent methods of topping and main lining, i would like to have more even canopy, Im not 100% happy how i managed that in my Shaman run. I have good feeling about this run.
I have transplanted the plant into a bigger pot and a proper grow box.
I also performed some HST.
There seems to be a genetic mutation on one of the stalks, with leaves that are smushed together.
So far, it is hands down the best flower that I have achieved. They seem to explode in size. I'm so glad and happy. The smell is really intense; it is not a stealthy strain. So far I would rate it 10/10, and it's not even in the final stage yet.
I would like to improve my curing process. I think I could do better. Do you have any tips?"
My review of the strain:
Auto Mokum Tulip is an exceptional cannabis strain that truly exceeded my expectations. From start to finish, this strain proved to be a joy to cultivate, and its outstanding qualities make it a standout choice for both novice and experienced growers.
Throughout the entire growing cycle, I encountered no issues with mold, burns, or pests. This strain demonstrates remarkable resilience and robustness, allowing me to focus on nurturing its growth without the worry of common cultivation setbacks.
Auto Mokum Tulip was growing in rapid rate. Within a relatively short span of 13 weeks, this strain reached its full maturity and was ready for harvest. This quick turnaround time is especially advantageous for those seeking a fast and efficient growing experience.
The flowers of Auto Mokum Tulip are truly a sight to behold. Compact and dense, they are generously coated with an abundant amount of trichomes. The buds showcase a lovely green color with captivating blue undertones that become more apparent when observed under the leaves. Notably, the size of the flowers where the largest I have ever achieved, making for an impressive harvest.
The aroma of Auto Mokum Tulip is a real delight. The smell is undeniably overpowering, in the best way possible. It emits a sweet and minty fragrance, which I found to be incredibly enjoyable. The prominent terpene profile adds to the overall sensory experience and further enhances the appeal of this strain.
In conclusion, Auto Mokum Tulip deserves a perfect score of 10 out of 10 for its exceptional qualities and cultivation experience. It is a strain that ticks all the boxes for an avid grower, offering ease of growth, resistance to common issues, rapid development, impressive flower size, and an enchanting aroma. If you're looking for a strain that combines all these desirable attributes, Auto Mokum Tulip should be at the top of your list.
I guess it is the time where all my hard work has paid off, it is the best grow since I started.
Looks: Gorgeous
Smell: Irresistible
Yield: Ideal
Great strain!
In my previous run, I struggled to make the most of the available space. However, this time, my topping technique was different and it worked perfectly. There was no overlapping between flowers, each had its own space, and the grow box was fully filled. I will definitely do this again.
Currently, the flowers are in the drying process. I have added some moisture absorbers and Integra BOOST to maintain better control over the humidity inside the grow box. I'm a bit scared about opening the grow box now because I want to avoid introducing any potential mold spores. The appearance of mold would be disastrous. I can't wait for the final product because I know it will be fire!👌
