Knowles Sisters - Straw-nana Auto [G2]

Hello and welcome to the first week of the final diary of my second grow series [G2]. Two Strawberry Banana Autos have begun their journey today. What shall we name them? Companion plants: Chamomile, Greek Basil, Dark Opal Greek Basil I have planted one baby near the companions and the other far away. Let's see what happens shall we? I have decided to name them Solange and Beyonce after the Knowles sisters of musical fame. Day 2: Beyonce slightly ahead, probably because of the gunk on the end of Solange's cotyledons. Day 3: humidity domes removed fertigated 3l Day 6: Bit concerned with the companion basil which has shrivelled up. Day 7: Not super impressive growth for the first 7 days but that is normal. I expect things to take off next week. End of week summary: Not a huge amount to say other than I am extremely excited to see how these two progress - of all the strains I am growing this is the one I am most excited to hopefully, eventually, smoke.

Hello! Week 2 is here already! These ladies are doing okay if a little small. I'm learning to judge a plant after 2 or 3 weeks in terms of growth rate comparison. Day 10 seems to be the first day of big growth for most of my plants so far, barring the first two veg is well underway by day 15. This week should show a big change for these ladies. Day 8: Fertigated 2l. Day 9: What? WHAT! Wow my gracious these girls must have been ready for their first feed because would you just look at that growth in 24 from the pair of them? Wow! These girls are about to go cray cray. Rearranged tent a bit and changed the fan to try and give myself a bit more space. Also added a couple of smaller fans. I have adjusted the timer such that the main tent is now getting 20/4 upped from 18/6. After monitoring DLI at 18/6 for a week I am unhappy with the overall level but because of the varying heights of the plants I am limited in what I can do in adjusting the light height. Some areas were only getting 20 DLI. So I have rearranged to have the taller plants on the edges and the lowest in the middle and doing it this way all plants are getting between 35 and 50 DLI at 20/4 - although one or two cola tips here and there are getting 55. Will monitor for a week. Day 10: Fertigated 2l. Not blown away by these ladies yet but let's see how we get on, they have certainly responded well to feeding. The Dark Opal Greek Basil companions are stunning. Day 11: Growth unspectacular but steady. Day 13: Fertigated 3l Day 14: Fertigated 2l, pruned companions, and FIMmed both ladies. No more space for LST and not enough height so... "fuck it". End of week summary. Pretty big growth from both. Beyonce still ahead but Solange catching her fast. Just cut their heads... lets see how they respond next week.

The ladies are going to take a day or two recover from FIM. See you tomorrow! Day 16: Nothing to report. Day 17: Fertigated 5l. Both ladies growing now but still recovering from FIM/TOP. Day 18: Nice bit of growth but still in recovery and slow. Day 20: They're recovered from the FIM now and growing again. Height 16cm Day 21: Fertigated 5l. End of week summary. Ladies have now recovered from FIM and are really vegging. Excited for next week! Solange haa caught Beyonce in height but not girth.

Welcome to week 4 of these Fast Buds Strawberry Banana Auto. Solange and Beyconce are growing fast now! Day 22: Took off 1 big leaf from Solange. Day 23: Nothing to report. Day 24: Fertigated 5l

Hellp growmies! We have fast forwarded three weeks due to my moving house. These two have endured two 9 day droughts in the last 3 weeks. However they have gone mad anyway. Solange is 88cm tall and way earlier in prefowering than Beyonce who has many pistils. They are narrow at each side due to lack of space in tent and my not rotating them for three weeks. Next week I get Internet and a new camera so daily updates will resume.

Hello everyone and welcome to week 9 and day 57 for these two Fast Buds Strawberry Bananana Autos. These two have gone mad! Beyonce is 81cm tall and well into flower as you can see. Solange on the other hand was 118cm tall and had passed the light so I super cropped her two tallest colas a few days ago. She is now 98cm Fertigated 10l 4 days ago and 7.5l today. Day 60: Fertigated 10l Day 62: The plants are now too big and/or heavy with bud to move out of the tent to photograph, and so with thanks to @growbigorgohome who suggested it, I have got a selfie stick to do in-tent photography. It's not great but it's better than nothing! Hopefully the videos will show plenty of details. Anyway I am starting to routine again now, the plants haven't gone more than 3 days without feeding, and I should be back to every other day again now. These two girls are really amazing. Beyonce is way ahead in terms of bud development, but Solange vegged longer and stretched more she was so massive I had to super-crop two colas! Anyway they are really motoring along now, I think Beyonce will be ready 2 weeks before Solange. Despite it is only day 62 we are rapidly approaching the end game here.

Day 66 24/4/23: Fertigated 10l Hello and welcome to week ten for the Knowles sisters! Beyoncé and Solange. Beyoncé has acquired extremely chunky buds and looks to be about "2-3 weeks" ahead of Solange in terms of bud development. However Solange spent longer in veg mode and has dwarfed Beyoncé (who is not small). Anyway the smell is really strawberryish now and vaguely banana. I am really excited for these girls. I am certain I will have to chop Beyoncé well before Solange. I hope you are enjoying the photos, I think I I am starting to get the hang of the lighting and camera. :D

Hello growmies and welcome to week 11. Today is 1st May and it is day 74 for these two ridiculous Strawberry Banana autos from Fast Buds. Solange is 130cm tall. Again. For the third time. Beyonce is about 1m and is developing some of the chunkiest buds I have ever grown, rivalled only by Poppy who is smaller and older. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do, these are two really stunning plants. Day 74: Fertigated 10l Day 77: Fertigated 7l

Hello and welcome to day 78 aka the first day of week 12! We are following "The Knowles Sisters" aka Beyoncé and Solange which are both Strawberry Banana Autos from Fast Buds. The smell from these two girls is now the strongest in the tent, and if you brush past them it releases a powerful potent burst of berries and bananas. Of all the strains in my recent grows, these are the ones I am most excited to try... last years strongest auto-flower in the world. Everyone I have spoken to or read about growing and smoking this has rated it 10/10 and that I should "brace myself" and I am "in for a real treat". Still a good while before I get to find out, but these ladies are progressing rapidly now.

Hello growmies and welcome to the final week for the Knowles Sisters aka Beyoncé & Solange - these two Strawberry Banana Auto from Fast Buds. The last few weeks there has not been too much to report, just plants coming down and these two girls have been swelling and finishing without incident. Although I did light/heat burn some of the sides of the tallest colas when I didn't rotate the plants for a few days. They were harvested yesterday on day 99 after being drought stressed. Harvest will be posted when drying has finished which I expect to be in about 6-9 days from today.

So the drying process for these two ladies was just about as close to perfect as I have done so far. They have been curing now for about a week and are starting to develop some very fruity flavours.
