02-11-2023 Germination
I started to germinate 3 Truffaloha #2 S1 seeds in a paper towel and sandwich bag.
I will start the 3 seeds under the 80 w until the tent is ready. I believe it will be empty in the next 7-10 days.
02-12-2023
2 of 3 have shown their radicle and have been planted after 36 hours
02-14-2023
2 of 3 seedlings have broke the surface. I removed them from the heat pad and I also removed the humidity dome. I move both plants under the LED
02-13-2023
this morning I am 3 for 3 with the seed germination . I planted the last seed also into a solo cup. now its just a waiting game until the show themselves breaking ground.
02-15-2023
All 3 seeds have popped the soil. I removed the Humidity dome and placed the plants under the LED and off of the heating mat
02-18-2023 day 1
The seedling popped the ground dew days ago. Moved them into their final home.
I will move them into a 1 gal and then into a 5 gal. So far the girls are giving me no problems
02-20-2023 Day 3
seedlings seem healthy . I tied of #2 to a wood stalk ,it was bend over quite a bit from the fan. #1 & #2 are growing roots out of the bottom of the cup, I will most likely re-plant them into 1 gal tomorrow.
02-21-2023 Day 4
replanted the Truffalhoa #2 into 1 gal pots today.
02-23-2023 Day 6
Girls are growing the way they are supposed to turned light to 50%
02-26-2023 Day 9
the Plants are growing as expected, #1 is at the moment the biggest of the plants followed by #2 and finally #3. all 3 have developed their first real node. I have the 5 gal pots ready for the transplant, I am just waiting for the soil to dry back.
02-28-2023. Day 11
Moved the Plants into their final 5gal pots. At the moment #1 is the most developed plant. When I replanted them, I tried to plant them all at the same hight to grow at an even canopy. I am hands down more excited about this grow than any other! But I am also nervous I will fuck it up.
03-03-2023 Day 14
The plants seem as if they took the transplant well and are thriving in the 5 gal pots. 2 of the three truffalhoa have developed the 3 node. once they all have developed the 5th node I will top them back down to 3rd node.I turned up the light to 75%
03-03-2023. Day 15
The Truffaloha 2 are growing as one would expect. I did notice that the very tips of the new growth on #2 seems to be slightly burned. I will continue to observe the issue.
#1 seem as if they are growing a little more bushy then #3 , but #3 looks as it wants to shot upward it has caught up in the hight and possibly outgrew the other 2 plants in hight.
03-05-2023 Day 17
All 3 plants have adapted well to the transplant into the 5 gal pots.
Plant #1 is the most vigorous growing plant .It has 4 established nodes and It is showing strong side branching .It also has the largest leaves of the bunch.
Plant #2 is also growing vigorously it is however not quite as big as #1. #2 new growth is showing slight burned tips as they grow. It is the only plant showing this.
#3 is just as tall as the other 2 plants. It however is not growing strong branching as the other two. It looks as if #3 is missing the fan leaf on the first node. I wonder if that is contributing to the slow growth of the branches
03-08-2023 Day 19
Not much has changed from the last entry. The Plants look great #2 seems as if it bounced back. I don't think that the new growth is showing the burned tips. I topped the plants today.
#2 I topped a few side branches . I will watch how the grow and possibly top all plants the same way.
03-10-2023 Day 21
The Plants have recovered from the topping stress. I tied the side branches down to allow for more light.
I can see on #2 where I topped the side branches. I will wait a couple more days and then I will top all the girls again.
#3 Is growing much slower and less vigorously than the other 2 Girls. It has much less side branching and foliage in general.
I turned the light intensity up to 100%
week in summery :
The plants adopted well to the transplant into the 5 gal pots . I topped all 3 Plants at The main branch
#1 is the bushiest and most viciously growing plant followed by #2 which has similar growth as #1 but it is not as big. #3 is by far the smallest of the 3 I hope that multiple toppings might help fill #3 out some. I feed the plants on Thursday for the first time Catapult. Lights are turned to 100%
03-11-2023 Day 22
I topped the Plants today a second time. I topped the top node branches. I will possibly top them one more time next Saturday. I also readjusted the tie-downs. The plants look healthy. #2 seems as if it has recovered completely from the tip burn. I am still not sure what caused it.
03-16-2023 Day 27
I topped the main kola a second time today . in the process I broke off one of the new branches on plant #2 . I did not notice it until later. The plants are otherwise growing as to be expected . #3 is much smaller than the other 2 plants . I will set the trellis at some point next week.
week summary: I topped the plants multiple times this week. beginning of the week I tied down a majority of the branches. I also feed the plants this week for the first time. The plants are growing as they are #'rd #1 is the biggest and most vigources growing Plant followed by #2 and lastly #3.
03-18-2023 Day 29
Plants are looking great, they are soaking up the nutes. I released all the branches and I have the lights at 24" above the plants to promote some growth/stretch so I can HST at the end of the week and install the Trellis.
03-19-2023 Day 30
HST
03-20-2023 Day 31
The plants have amazingly recovered from the HST yesterday afternoon. It especially did #3 good. that plant suddenly looks much fuller. By end of the week I will install the trellis and flip the light to 12/12
03-27-2023 Day 37
I gave the girls their preflower defoliation. They look at the moment like Charlie Brown Trees. But as I know the bounce back is real
03-31-2023 Day 42
I will be flipping the lights to 12/12 in the morning. The plants are growing healthy and the cuts are starting to show roots. I did have to cut out 2 Fasciated Branches yesterday . 1 came from #2 and 1 of #3 . I had already cut one of those branches on #3 not too long ago .
04-01-2023 day 1
Set the lights to 12/12 , both clones from #1 have rooted and are planted into 1 gal.
Can't wait for the next 70 days to pass!!
04-05-2023 Day 5
The first branches are reaching the top trellis. Without exaggeration I think I will be able to fill just about every trellis square!
First Flower feed!
04-08-2023 day 8
The girls are in full stretch ,filling the top trellis and about to explode into bloom.
04.09.2023 Day 9
I am flabbergasted as I sit here. Never before have I grown a plant were the terps were so fragrant that I could smell them at day 9 from several feet away. Absolutely amazing!!
04.11.2023 Day 11
All 3 cuts have rooted and are now Planted. The Plants are stretching pretty hard .
4-17-2023 Day 17
The plants have almost doubled in size since flipping the lights . To my amazement the flowers are already starting to ice up with trichromes.
4.20.2023 Day 20
The bud structure as well as the node spacing seem pretty much identical. However #2 have stretched more than #1. Both grew a uneven canopy while #1 looks mostly level. The tops on #2 & #3 are a good 2-3 “ taller than #1 The terps are really pungent
05.01.2023 Day 31
I don't even know where to start. These Truffaloha's are by far the most iced out plants I have ever grown. #1 is the most uniform plant while #2 is the prettiest and #3 the iciest one. They are also extremely stinky . If these smoke half as good as they look this will be the best smoke of my life
5.3.2023 day 33 I took some cuts of my mother plants. I will Flower them out and keep the clones as a new mom
05-05-2023 day 36 It is possible that I am repeating myself . These Truffaloha are just unreal. I have never see. anything quite like them before. all 3 are caked in trichomes. they are just stunning!!!
05.11.2023 day 41
Speechless!!
These plants are just amazing. I am pretty sure I have 1 winner in the bunch but could very well be 2. #1 are the frontrunner while #3 is the tallest and by for the most caked out plant she is lagging the nose.
As this grow wraps up , these Truffaloha's are by far the most trichrome covered fragrant and sexy looking plants I have grown. The buds are fairly nice sized and feel pretty solid.
By far the most trichrome coverd Fragrant , beautiful and sexy plants I have grown . The plants are absolutely gorgeous.
The buds are fairly sized but even the large nugs are looking better than some main Buds I have seen in the past.
I am stoked that I have cuts of this grow . When growing from seeds we are always looking for a winner. A plant one would keep a mother around and breed with. I am almost posthat ivhave found at least one of those winners if not 2.
Everything is looking great. Excited to see the stability of the BeLeaf genetics. I am also growing Dip n' Stix S1 by BeLeaf: growdiaries.com/diaries/166412-grow-journal-by-jben1990. Following your diary to keep informed. Feel free to do the same.

Hey, Grumpy! I just wanted to say thank you for your awesome work on documenting this grow. I got back into growing after an almost 30 year hiatus. A friend had gifted me a cutting of Truffaloha #2, and I used your grow diary as a benchmark for my grow. It was super useful and I appreciate it! It is an amazing flower!
