OnTheMoon Used Crop King's method to germinating the seeds, first soak in dish a water for a day then moved seeds to wet paper towel on plate. Covered the plate with plastic bag and kept in warm place. It took a week for both of the seeds to sprout. Placed sprouts in soil Feb. 9th and today Feb. 10th the little sprouts are above the soil.

OnTheMoon Both seeds sprouted well and the stem is 3 inches. I hope to have these plants grow a little taller than my previous indoor grow that resulted in short plants. Beginning with my strongest light but places well above the seedlings. Nice to see the third leaves starting to develop today.

OnTheMoon As the plants were a bit wobbly, I added a bit of soil on top to hold the seedlings more up right. I have also turned a fan on a couple hours a day.

OnTheMoon Today I put the seedlings into buckets. They should have been done a few days ago as the roots were beginning to become root bound. I transplanted into dry soil as I did for the previous grow. I am still trying to curb my tendency to over water. Now that the plants are more developed I will begin to increase the nutrients. I picked off the useless first leaves.

OnTheMoon Plants grew quickly this week. I have increased the amount of nutrients in the water. I am still turning on the fan for a few hours each day to encourage stronger stems.

OnTheMoon Plants growing well, I have not tied down any of the branches this time. I am just letting the plants grow the way they want. I did pick off 6 of the largest fan leaves to allow more light to reach interior of the 2 plants. I added Cal-Meg this past week and will be adding Big Bud to the water next week.

OnTheMoon Still growing well and no nutrient deficiencies showing up yet. They wanted a little more water with nutrients than last week. Picked off a pair of large leaves of each plant to allow a bit more light to reach lower bud sights.

OnTheMoon I read an article by a plant science researcher who claims that adding Cal/Meg nutrient was a myth. She lab tested leaves from cannabis for Calcium and magnesium content. A photo was provided showing a plant that had been over fed calcium. It looked very much like the leaves on my plants, which have lighter green on the edges. Next week I will be removing the Cal/Meg from the nutrient mix.

OnTheMoon Stopped giving CalMeg Plus as I thought the edges of the leaves becoming yellow due to over feeding Calcium. I expect it would be way longer for the leaves to recover if ever.

OnTheMoon Some of the large fan leaves have turned yellow and were dropping off. I have picked them off. This week I had increased the nutrients for nitrogen by adding more Micro. Today I was a surprised that there were so many yellow leaves today.

OnTheMoon More yellow leaves this week, I picked a few more off this morning. Still giving extra nitrogen by doubling up on the Micro solution. In spite of having less leaves the plants were needing extra water solution this past week. Buds are increasing in size and trichomes are giving a light dusting of white on the buds.

OnTheMoon No nutrients given this week, which resulted in lots of yellow leaves. One more week until maturity. I am interested to learn if these two plants grown without training will out produce the 2 plants on which I practiced Low Stress Training. The scales will be the true test.
OnTheMoon The buds were very sticky, had to wear gloves during trimming. Have yet to smoke or use as edibles any of this strain. I had experimented with these 2 plants compared with 2, I had grown previously. I wanted to see if the Low Stress Training, LST, I had done on the previous 2 plants produced more bud weight. It did not. These 2 untrained plants produced much better. Surprise. This grow produced 492 grams (wet bud) while the LST plants produced 319 grams (wet bud).
@OnTheMoon, a nanner or banana - is the male anther of the male reproductive organ in cannabis. The anthers look like bananas, and mean you have some intersex/hermaphroditism issues if you spot them
