Starting the famous blue dream matic . Cant wait to see it go. This will be my first real champ genetics strain. My last grow turned out great for a pretty “bs†genetic. Feeling more confident and equipped with better gear and a new macro lens this should fun!
Hi @Cbygrow! I harvested 2 of these babies a few weeks ago. 1st one was FIMmed, 2nd one was left untouched (natural shape). Well the 1st one produced less weight but strong big buds with the same look, whereas the 2nd one produced more weight but many popcorn-buds and each bud has a different shape. Weird thing, the FIMed one was quicker than the naturally-grown one, about 10 days faster. Anyway I loved both and the taste was quite the same: sweeeeet! Both were big drinkers and were responding pretty well to nutrients. Enjoy this top quality strain, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊
Everything so far is great! Im am starting the first nutes mix. I cut the recommended doze in half so that she can get just what she need without having nutes lockouts. I cant wait to see the grow rate of a xl strain and also see the blue dream phenotypes. Everyday i drip a bit of the tank water at the base of the plant to stimulate the dripping effects on the roots and encourage them to grow downward faster.
Starting week 3, this strain grows like crazy!! The conditions are looking good, i am now giving her full nutes since she took more than well the last half-dozed nutes. Very nice lush green with no signs of deficiencies! One the root found its way to the tank wich surprised me be how fast she broke through the bottom hole
Sorry for the delay! Busy week im telling you! Week 3 surprised me with how fast the rooting and vegetation grow went. Every day i could see a good difference and came to a conclusion that: defoliation of the very big and “in the way” fan leaves was going to be needed since my grow space is limited. Overall everything is going smoothly and with fall temps being coolder i get more chilled night wich will force the resin production of the plant
Pré flowering is here! She will now expand quite a bit every day until the calix forms around the pistils and then fatting up. She’s a heavy drinker and the rootzone is getting huge 👍🏻Im starting to pick a very sweet yet suptil smell diffrent from my last strain that was like opening a damn citrus mister clean bottle😂( was the best tasting weed i tried )
Week 6 went by smoothly, since fall have coolder temps my setup is now at its best, the preflower streech is starting and the rootzone is getting preeeeety damn gorgeous also last week using the b1 seaweed based nutes
Hi fellow growers.I was wondering if bluedream strain gains a darker/blueish tint if exposed to lower than 20 degrees. I know that it is great for resins production! What do you guys think or know about it?!
Hello @Cbygrow ! Pretty much all strains will give a purple/blue/red color if you expose them at low temperatures and stop feeding them but it will happen only at the leaves, not to the buds and no, blue dream is not a plant that will give you purple or any other strange color of buds. This grow was by far my best regarding quality, i am looking for quality and flavor and consistent phenotypes and i am not disappointed. The amount of trichomes was simply amazing, giving out a angelic white halo when took in pictures with a flash . The resign levels where crazy and drove me nuts while trimming the plant , she will nullify that so called spring loaded mechanisms of your trimmer in no time
