I'll give a more accurate smoke report in a couple of weeks once the buds have had a chance to age more. A preliminary sample was certainly potent and taste was fruity as one would expect. There's something more going on with the backend flavour that I can't quite describe but I think will reveal itself more as it cures.
The Frosted Guava was a pretty successful grow and produced some impressive, fat, fruity-smelling buds.
She had some issues early on in the grow but bounced back like a champ. She also suffered a bit of a calcium deficiency early in flower but recovered from that and finished strong.
@StunFlower, hope it bounces back. I found transplanting goes better when I pre-water the soil before the transplant, add some myco's to the roots, and then water it in a little more. I get the soil to where it clumps when I squeeze it, but no water drips out.
@Oozle, Ya, she bounced back really well. I'm glad she did because I'm pretty intrigued by this strain.
I had actually planned to replace her with another Alien Moonrocks I had going in soil. However, that plant started going downhill soon after I transplanted her into a bigger pot. She's taking forever to dry out after the initial watering. I didn't think I overdid it - about 2 liters of water; she's in a 5-gallon fabric pot - so not sure what's going on. Looks like I need to threaten her with eviction/extinction as well 😉
