We will have some space available in the veg room so I am excited to add these Mephisto plants to the rotation.
Soaked for 24hr on 2/16. Transplanted into potting mix on 2/17. By 2/19 both of them had broken the soil. No nutrients yet but I’m trying grow dots once we transplant into final containers.
I accidentally did too rough of a LST and broke one of the stems low enough and there’s enough plants coming behind we made the decision to retire her.
It’s so early I feel dirty calling this week the start of flower but here we are. I’m always amazed how early some autos show sex. Not that I was suspicious but she is indeed a girl so ✅ on Mephisto fems.
It’s in with the flowering photos so on 12/12 under 600W HPS. We have not fed it with nutrients yet but we have done one feeding with Recharge, a new compost tea product we’re trying.
I was going to try Grow Dots with this grow but I didn’t order them until last week so we’ll stick with our normal feedings on this grow and try the dots in the future.
We did some LST this week to start working the plant into final shape and she’s looking nice but I’m sure if we had it in the veg tent under 24/0 she would have a bit more growth.
She has a stretchier growth habit than some of the other strains we have going at the moment. Hoping as we continue LST the lower branches will fill in more.
She’s been a slow grower but I suspect that’s more of my fault than hers. She’s been in the flower room since week two; so not getting all the hours of photosynthesis she’d like.
On the plus side it looks healthy. I haven’t really had problems with the grow and her leaves are verdant and virulent. I’m sure the few bud sites will make a nice couple grams.
I’ll try the rest of the pack here soon and hope I can do a better job with those. The freebie Toof Decay x Walter White I planted at the same time are killing it though.
