I am going to do some LST this weekend. My girls have recovered nicely from the topping I did last week. Plant 3 may have been a FIM but I'm not sure. I'll try to get a closeup shot and see what everyone thinks. The stalks are quite thick though, so it may be difficult to bend them over.
Discovered this week that the light timer was on constantly and wasn't shutting off at night. Girls are much happier with the rest at night from no light. I did some minor defoliation and more low stress training. Bending the branches down.
I over watered all three plants this week. It's a pretty easy mistake to make. I let the plants dry out and then watered property. They are much happier now. Other than that they are growing nicely and responding well to the low stress training. I can see 10 potential tops for each plant.
Recovering nicely from the overwatering. I have some lower leaves going yellow. I top dressed with some power Bloom. I should be kicking them into flower in the next couple of weeks.
Added the scrog net this week to help in spreading out the canopy. Kept up with the defoliation of the lower leaves. Also bumped up the light level on the dimmer as I prepare to kick these into flower next week.
Put the plants into flower on April 20 of all days. Plants are growing well. There are lots of bud sites and I am hoping they will fill out nicely. I amended with Power Bloom and will do that again in a couple of weeks.
I did a pretty big defoliation this week and gave the girls a couple of days to recover. They are growing nice and healthy. Lots of bud sites are developing as I turn the light up to 100%.
I have really enjoyed growing these seeds.
The plants are growing nicely. They are stretching quite a bit. It is interesting to see how each plant grows differently. I didn't add any nutrients this week. I watered on Monday and used 5 gallons over the 3 plants. 4 days later and there is still water in the soil.
These plants are doing so well. One plant is stretching a lot. All the flowers are starting to get a lot fatter. I will start checking trichomes next week as I can see a lot of them forming on the sugar leaves already.
Plants are growing very well. The flowers are frosting up nicely! The flowers are also bulking up. I may harvest this week. I had a look at the trichomes with the usb microscope and they are about 50% clear and 50% cloudy.
The girls are still growing strong. Not ready for harvest yet. There is still the same amount of clear trichomes so we will wait for almost all cloudy. Some fan leaves are starting to fade and yellow but I don't think I will amend the soil and just let nature take its course.
Another week gone by with the ladies getting fatter. The fan leaves are yellowing even more as harvest time approaches. I added some ice blocks to what I think will be the final watering. The theory is that the cold water will trick the plants into feeling like the weather is cooling off and should produce rosin to protect the flowers. We will see. I figure that it probably won't hurt at this point.
I am still not sure if I should chop these plant yet. I took a look under the microscope and they have clouded up nicely. I think a couple more days and they should be ready.
