First off, Shout out to James @ RQS, thank you for making this happen.
They have been placed in speedgrowgreen cubes, which were previously soaked in RO water with a lite canna calmag
They will stay in my small box, which was actually meant to be Veg box, I, however, have upgraded the lamp to greenception gcx 5solo. Which is dimmable and perfectly fits the space. The box has the dimensions of 110 cm wide x 35cm deep x 130cm tall. The plants will be grown in Rockwool cubes throughout their entire lifecycle and will be drip fed.
I am really excited to see what the future in Cannabis seeds has to offer.
Stay tuned !!!
Plants were alright until this morning, when they started showing a few signs of over feeding. So I flushed the cubes with some ph balance RO water (No Calmag this time). Other than that they all popped within 72 hours and are going strong. Have started to build my own rockwool big mamas, since it was difficult sourcing them easily where I live. As per my calculation, all in we are looking at 5.9l of rockwool per plant.
I think they are now back on track, and developing nicely, two have already been transplanted on their final cubes, however I don’t have space for the third one yet, as one of my clones needs to move out first.
Plants have made some major progress over the course of the last week. All grow very similar in structure and height. Some of them show some weird looking leaves, but overall these appearances don’t seem to repeat in new foliage growth. The green emotion is currently set to somewhere around 60% = 90 watts will slowly be increased until they are in full flower to 100%= 150 watts.
I trained the ladies a little bit and removed some leaves covering the lower shoots. They have more than doubled in size and actually sucked almost all the nutrients out of the solution. It’s crazy how similar they all look, they just started showing first signs of flower, so will switch them on flower nutrients next week.
The plants are developing nicely, however only transition very slowly into flower. I have defoliated slightly throughout the week. Have move another big plant out of the tent so these will have a bit more space. Overall they seem very hungry in comparison to the auto I grew before.
They do what they are supposed to be doing, however I am not sure if they do it fast enough;) For the remaining seeds I’ll keep in mind how hungry these ladies are. Gave them one last time pre flower nutrients, however they seem to show signs of tip burn since yesterday when changed the reservoir. If this continues I’ll change it during the week to flower nutrients. They have been stretching quite a bit, actually to much for my small box. I therefore supercropped the two taller ones yesterday evening. It brought their height from 50cm down to 40cm. The plants showed zero signs of stress due to the supercropping.
They continue to be very hungry. Mid week I had to change the reservoir and decided to go with full flower nutes from canna. They seem to like it and the flowers start to stretch along the colas. So far so good, I am really curious how they Turn out in the end. Plants have been defoliated heavily one last time to enable more light in the lower canopy.
These ladies continue to develop very nicely and lucky stopped stretching pretty much in the beginning of this week and the buds are forming super nicely. Since I also don’t observe a stretch in flower anymore, I decided to feed pk13/14 for the next week. It continues to surprise me how hungry these autos are, much hungrier than my glookies fro example. Unfortunately I realized that the plant on the very right of the box produces much smaller buds than the other two. I am pinning that on the fan right above her, so have pointed it slightly higher, but I guess the damage is done:(.
These ladies are developing very nicely, the left and middle one already started to bulk heavily over the course of the last week, while the one that got wind stress is trailing a little behind and will probably take a little longer. For the other two I would guesstimate that I can start flushing by the end of the week. The trichomes on the two are completely milky, however with no signal of amber yet
I fed them nutrients until Wednesday and continued until Saturday with RO water, changing the reservoir daily until I got the ppms down to were my truncheon doesn’t react anymore. On Saturday evening started cutting them down (6hours….).
Great strain super fast, packs on quickly once she started. All pretty much the same phenotype. Realized that I need to workmen my circulation in the small tent. As the plant closest to ventilator developed same in size but much smaller buds. Whereas the one furthest away from the vent grew a bit smaller but same quality buds. The one in the middle developed the best in size and bud quality.
