GreenHarvest_Official Not a long trimming session because she didn't grow so big, still had good yield and really potent and dense buds. I think these might be the densest I've ever gotten
Good luck with your grow. Tbh the net. It's gonna be more of a hindrance than help. With Scrogs the Idea is to veg the plant. By filling it in "during veg, by way of Flming or an X or manifold, then, you need weeks of veg, "sativa strains work best, and for them to have a long enough veg needed, you need at min 8-12wks. More if it's leaning to indica, as the idea is the same. You need to tie down full length nodes covering 75% of your net. And when you flip the shoots should all grow up at the same time. "No buds should be below the net"
Just a tip. Take it or not. But, really there is no ben. Good LST and a nice defol after pre flower is over, "the stretch" and let you bloom by way of extending your nodes to fill your tent. As there's no way to take the flipped nodes from the bottom and have them up top above the net.
Good luck either way I'm sure you'll learn from it either way. And that's really all that matters. Good Growing pal
@gottagrowsometime, Thanks for the insight. Got the net late and thought I'd still give it a try. Since these are autoflowers it was a bit more difficult to control. At this point I'm just using it to keep the main cola down and support some of the other branches. I will for sure come back to your comment in my next grow as I'm going for just 1 photo in a tent and try to grow it as best as possible.
Just to clarify your instructions about the scrog net (and correct me where I'm wrong), the idea is to set up the net at veg stage (around the 3rd/4th node height) and keep topping (or some other similar hst) to cover most of the scrog net space (but still being under it). Then when you flip to the flowering everything will get taller and go through the net at which point I will need to shape it so the colas take as much space as possible. Is this right?
Heyy,
Thanks a bunch for growing our genetics, and sharing this diary with us!
We hope that it was a nice experience
Have a good one, and happy harvest :)
