Planted seeds directly into peat grow plugs in the final container on 2.22 and they broke soil on 2.25. Why grow plugs? So the roots are in a neutral environment for the beginning of its journey. I’m using promix organic garden soil which I will bastardize with GH maxigro. I’ll be moving the 4x8 tent upstairs after the other plants finish in the next week or 2.
An average first week. Hopefully there’s more subterranean growth. I just misted the top daily with 6.2ph, no nutrients. The next week I’m hoping will be fierce!!!😂 happy growing!!!
Not much to report other than the fabric pot is happier by the looks. I’m contemplating a super light maxigro feed end of the week but the soil is Promix organic garden so it will probably provide enough food for the first month. I have 3 autos in the tent that I harvested 50% of and will finish on Sunday and upstairs we move.😁

The rigid plastic pot was staying wet, all but the top 12mm, which I believe is why the stunted growth. I know the transplanting taboo surrounding auto flowers but at this point I’ll take my chances. The one started in fabric is doing well I think, “is it paranoia, or has it stalled for a couple days?”🤣 I’ll start feeding tomorrow with what I hope is the right formula. I’ve had some of what I consider failures other than gaining experience growing autos in soil/soilless so I have my fingers crossed and trying not to be bummed about the stunted growth. ☮️🌲🔥 +Growth!
I’m happy with the larger one and just going to start over with the second. It never recovered from being moved to a new pot and too wet before that. Unfortunately this isn’t my first time with similar issues. I like dwc🤣. I would like to try flood tables or maybe an ebb and flow system. For now I need to get the soil/soilless down. I culled the runt but haven’t started a new one in its place. The remaining girl is doing well I think, moved upstairs into a 2x4 tent with some clones. The first pistils started showing last weekend and hopefully she’ll start stretching soon. Happy growing!🌱🌿
Been neglecting due to another project but she’s still kicking. I’m cloning, starting seeds, setting up greenhouses and plowing for an outdoor commercial grow and unfortunately that has taken up most of my time. Will start diary’s for each strain in the lineup. Happy growing!!!
