March 21, 2023 at 3:26 PM -Plants were watered with the ph adjusted to 6.2 because firstly, the water’s ph was at 8 and secondly, the tea mixture’s ph was at 6.9. The two BOHs are smaller but are looking the same. The strawberry crinkle is looking vigorous and healthy. The forum stomper looks ready for the LST to be implemented. I’m going to take a gander at the FS up close and hopefully bend it over. 😅 March 22, 2023 at 1:19 PM -I wanted to make a note that I’m using 50% of my light. So it should be roughly 400 watch at roughly 18 inches away from the canopy. I’ll add some more pics and maybe a video later on today.😎 March 23, 2023 at 12:59 PM -today’s the last day of week two. Yesterday the forum Stomper and the strawberry crinkle were bent over to begin their LST. The two blood orange haze’s were too small to tie down but after being watered with some 6.2 pH water they have appeared to have grown at least an inch. maybe in a day or two I’ll be able to take them down. The form Stomper and strawberry crinkle completely recovered from being bent over. Hopefully I’ll get to bend them over again today. I put some pictures up of some close-ups from when I did the bending over.😉

I was tieing all my autos down just like you are and let me tell you it was really hard not to do it but if you remove all the tie downs and let it grow she will take off and get way bigger. I stunt all my autos and really hurt my yield when doing this so I tried to training just leaf tucking and my plants have never been bigger. my strawberry crinkle is the best looking and massive and I did nothing to any of them except Girl Scout monkeys, I bent the main stem for maybe 5 days and then removed it. I probably won't go back to tieing down my autos because compared to the ones I have tied down are just so small and bushy compared to the ones I just least tucked. also I've move your like up way higher and let them stretch. move it to the top of tent and put it as 100%. let the plants decide how much ppfd they want by growing into it. They will adjust themselves. I did all of this on this last run and I've never seen better results!

They are growing fast. Question, what's the purpose in bending the plants over? What does it accomplish?
Grilla
Grillacommented2 years ago
@Capulin, it allows light to reach lower nodes that normally wouldn’t get to much light. Weed comes from the nodes and if it doesn’t receive enough light the weed it makes is small, leafy, and not as potent as a node completely covered in light. If a plant isn’t trained properly the yield will not reach its full potential.

@Kayougafarm, i’m never satisfied. That’s what keeps bringing me back. I want perfection, but is there perfection in art?
