So we are now at the end of week 9 and Apricot auto has finally slowed down. I saw the last flush of pistils st the end of week 8 and start of week 9. I gave the last feeding at the end of week 8 and now this plant is on a fresh water diet.
Super fat colas with very frosty buds. There is a good mix of amber and cloudy trichomes now, which will continue to ripen as we progress through week 10. Overall Apricot Auto responded well to training and my feeding regime throughout the grow. The plant has fewer branches then say 2311 and 2312 but makes up for this with fat buds from the tip of the cola to the bottom. No wonder this was released so early in 2023. Grats on this one FastBuds.
This plant struggled a little with heat and light stress which you can see in the upper canopy. I have ceramic heat lamps in the tent to combat the freezing temps from the shed and unfortunately this plant took a little more exposure, which was compounded by the really powerful XS2000. I noticed leaf curling early on in veg and again in week 8 and 9.... I did my best to combat mother nature's freezing cold temps but alas, it was not a battle I won without some consessions.... I am okay with this.
