I wet a paper towel with warm water and fold the seeds inside. I then place the whole thing inside of a zip lock bag in a cool dark place. I leave the zipper part of the bag open and have had 100% success rate.
This week is technically seedling phase and there is not much to do. Essentially we just give them very small amounts of moisture every so often and just align their stems in tbe pots with gardening wire if needed.
Halfway through this week (week 2) in early veg, I decided to transplant these girls into their final 5 gallon pots. They did not experience any transplant shock and almost immediately went into a growth spurt.
I don't need to feed these girls at all as this homemade compost has plenty of naturally available nutrition for these young plants.
These plants are loving their new home. I'm glad the transplant went smoothly cause these plants didn't stop at all.
I topped all of these plants and am going to start the LST process in preparations for the scrog. So far, so good!
I won't be feeding these plants at all until early flower.
These girls are starting to grow very well. There is some variation in these genetics for sure as the left plant is much more vigorous than the other three. After topping, and some defoliation here in there to open up for more bud sites we are starting to grow into the trellis.
I decided to move the largest plant to the far left and swap it with the plant on the end. I did this so that the scrog will be filled out evenly as with multiple plants from seed will produce different plant structures. No feed as of yet and I am estimating another week and a half to two and a half weeks until the scrog is filled out enough to flower them out.
These plants are really putting on growth 💪and adapting nicely to the scrog. I have been defoliating steadily, and will be doing so until about week 3 of flower. 😎
I am going to be adjusting these plants by moving them into a more efficient configuration underneath the scrog. In this batch of four Blueberry Muffins from Humboldt Seed Co feminized plants, we have some variations in growth vigor and structure.
To do this correctly ill be moving the less vigorous plants closer together and allow for the more vigorous plants to have more space to fill. This will allow me to keep the entire garden as even as possible and fill the rest of the empty spaces.
I suspect another week or two and we will be switching to flower 🌼.
This was a great week and we are seeing very responsive growth.✌️
I decided to shuffle these plants around in order to allow the more vigorous plants to have more room and the smaller plants to have less room as they won't spread out as fast.🤟
I have added a topdress of organic dry amendments to each pot as the biggest plant was showing signs it needed some feed. I also added these nutes in order to prep for flower as the SCROG is filling out nicely.
The 2 x 4 foot tent also got an upgrade. This grow started with just a Mars Hydro TSL 2000 which is a phenomenal light on its own, but I have added a Mars Hydro SP 3000 to this grow to see what we can do. 😎
This week I have switched to flower. These plants have already started to stretch. My plan is to defoliate every four days or so to try and catch up on this jungle. 🌿
These plants are thriving though😋 the one to the left had some yellowing tips and started to fade so I will be watching as the dry amendments begin to break down becoming more available to the plants.
This week the girls are starting to ramp up their water needs to just about every day.
With the first week we did some pretty good training and defoliation. This week just very very few leaves were plucked as next week ill be a little more rigorous as that will be my last major defoliation before harvest.
The Blueberry Muffins by Humboldt Seed Company plant that has had the most vigorous growth (the plant furthest left) has been looking hungry, I have top dressed her and just waiting for the nutrition to become bioavailable and will watch her for any other signs of stress.
Easy week. These girls are only going to recieve water from here on out. They were fed once right at about the first week of flower.
They are really staring to smell. I like how the buds are filling out but I've noticed my biggest plant is a little sad. I've fed her and now am going to wait it out and see how she does. I think because she grew so fast she was needy than the others and I was a little late on the feed as dry organic amendments that I use are not bio available immideately though I think we can get her back on track soon.
So far we are growing steadily. They are filling out and getting nice and frosty but let me just say the smells are def coming in and wow I'm starting to get excited.
These plants are starting to come along after being a bit hungry and needing to catch up on nutrition. There are definitely variations so far in these Blueberry Muffins seeds from Humboldt seed company, but they all so far look like they will be fire.
For now its just water and wait. These plants have already received their only feeds and will only be getting water until harvest in just a couple weeks. (Breeder averages were 45 days of flower) we will see.
This garden is smelling and looking amazing. We had one that was getting hungry but I had already mixed a top dress on her so we just waited it out. I think she is slowly coming around.
Humboldt Seed Companies Blueberry Muffin Strain is said to have an average finishing time of 45 days. End of this week will be day 42. We are going to definitely track that with these pheno variations as I see two in my tent that are maturing much faster than the other two.
Otherwise these plants have been great to grow this far and the smells are phenomenal. One of these phenos is really really vigorous and needy but the rest have been pretty chill✌️.
Every time I go into the tent my mouth starts to water 🤤. I cannot wait to get a flavor test of these girls.
Wow. Hats off to Humboldt Seed Company. These plants are some of the stankiest herbs I've ever grown. The Blueberry candy 🍬 smells are absolutely mouth watering.
So these plants around day 42 even with white pistils started to have very milky trichomes. I plucked a tester and it was great. So I'm thinking within a week or so these plants will be ready to harvest.✌️✌️
If you are reading this, I highly recommend running some of these terpy strains from Humboldt Seed Company ..... you won't be disappointed.
These plant were taken at different times but the average overall flowering times were around day 50 with some finishing earlier and some a couple days thereafter.
The muffins so far this grow had two phenos that produced decent size buds and density and there were two that were very airy and did not produce great yields ......but the smoke ......🤤......the bag appeal, the smells and flavor of all these girls is top shelf. The high is very uplifting (giggly). This strain i loved so much I decided to take the best of these 4 and reveg her into a clone mother.
