Mekster Had to deal with funk in the water. Tried house and garden aqua flakes. It did not like my set up. Switched back to jacks. Roots look great. Plant looks good.
Hello. The reason the roots won't submerge is "surface water tension". The old trick is to add some liquid dish soap. Just a few drops you don't want a lot of foam. Chuck.
Mekster Topped her this week. Clearly looking like the plant with more potential of the tent mate.
Roots are still fighting the water. At this point it is what it is. I’ll flip within two weeks. If it doubles in size, that would be as high as the tent can take.
I got the AC infinity humidifier. Humidity control instantly better.

Mekster I was away all week. Had a heat wave, tent got hot. She drank two more gallons than the stumpy tent mate. Looking great. Flipping to flower.
Still highly recommend the humidifier for the AC infinity family. Not a spokesperson. lol
Like Green Harvest said. I like to have the plant grow almost vertical. My BCN almost looks like I mainlined, but it’s all LST. I have found that in the first 6 -7 weeks I can pretty much bend them anywhere I want. If they are getting stiff I move them a little each day till they are where I want them. Good luck looks great.
Mekster She looks good. Seems to be eating and drinking. EC stayed pretty consistent thru water level changes.
She split at the top. Electrical tape is there. I will give it a tie in a day or two.
Jacks going to 4-2-1
Cal mag
Mekster She’s drinking water and nutes up.
Everything seems to be steady. Plant looks good to me.
So shots with flash and some without.
Slight concern for nute burn with the tip coloration. Will keep watching

Mekster Jacks at 4-2-1
Clorox
Adding house and garden Bud xl and Bud shooter (just because I have it)
Killed the tent mate. Roots never grew. Leaves faded. And no real growth in weeks. I was scared she would herm and ruin the nice plant.

Mekster She drank a gallon a day and soaked up nutes. Tips are a bit nute burn ish mid plant.
Purple color coming in, roots healthy. Bucket is the best.
As a side note running Clorox at .2ml/gal has been great. I was worried.. Clorox, didn’t sit right with intuition. Slight hesitation in roots dropping. Once in exPlosive growth.
Mekster Colas looking velvety? Black/purple/burgundy. The little follicles still growing at the end, with sights of green at end.
Leaves have turned a lot less black.
Lower buds on the airy side. Too nice and solid.
Triches aren’t turning yet. 4 weeks from chop??? Best guess.

Mekster Jacks 421. Buds turning very dark.
Cant tell how the triches are coming along. Chopping in 2-3 weeks.
Better closeups are thru a jewelers 30x into the iPhone lens.
Hello! According to the image you shared, the trichomes still appear predominantly clear, which indicates that your plants are not fully mature for harvest. It is generally recommended to wait until approximately 20-30% of the trichomes turn amber in color for a more relaxing and sedative effect. This indicates that the cannabinoids have reached their maximum potential. I suggest closely monitoring the trichomes and waiting for them to reach the desired percentage before harvesting. Good luck with your cultivation!
Look up "frenchy canoli hash" on youtube .. the long-ass video with a simple blue mini washer and a huge commercial custom-made bin next ot it is the one you want to watch. you may not do everything he does, but the reasoning / the cause and effect is explained and in the end you make a more informed decision as to how you go about it.
200g total. 80g airy for edibles. Will trellis next time.
Edit:Would say this has some indica in it or I chopped too late. Think they are dry.
Chopped today. 21 branches. 25% dense. 25% ok. 50% airy/ super airy.

Mekster Great grow. Once roots submerged it grew like a weed. Growing a different strain for variety. Would grow this again.
I have seen roots many times very similar to yours. The only difference is every single time I have ever seen similar roots they have been aeroponic setups. Roots look identical to yours. Wonder why there like that with your setup. Have you tried lowering the water level so they go in search of water and nutes possibly growing down into the solution?
@@Billyandbarb,
I haven’t messed with water level too much. I maybe I’ll drop the water low in one of the buckets and see if it does anything.
Do you think there is any chance it’s too much air bubbles?
@Mekster, ya try that. And no I don't think there is to many air bubbles. From the videos I have watched online and the books I own the more air the better. Realistically if there is to much air bubbles basically misting your roots with your reservoir solution then It would be more of an aeroponic setup. I am new to hydroponics and i am actually only on my first DWC run in veg at the moment. Kind of learning as I go. I have 2 air stones per bucket in mine with an oversized air pump and I have had no issues with that yet everything looks great. I mean as long as your plants are growing and look healthy then I wouldn't worry too much just be cautious. Hopefully you can figure it out mate
