Germination

Milkyway_03 The first 3 days nothing happened until on the fourth day these little friends popped up. I'm very happy that so far 4-5 have germinated. I'm a beginner and this is my first real attempt. Every week new pictures and new insights for you all 😌✨

Week 1. Vegetation

9.5 cm

Milkyway_03 This week I repotted into slightly larger pots. The small ones made me a bit nervous because they were drooping at first. However, I secured them and kept an eye on them. Now they’re doing better, and the first characteristic leaves are starting to show.

Week 2. Vegetation

13 cm
Height
Milkyway_03 This week was very exciting for me, I repotted into the final pots, which will be their home until harvest. I was worried again during repotting because I couldn't see a particularly large root system in all the pots. However, all 5 are steadily and beautifully growing, and we finally have 2 vegetative points. ✨ I'm already looking forward to week 3. 😌 (Comments, improvements, and notes are welcome)

@love_2_grow, well, I’ve now potted them in small pots and would like to know when I can start repotting them? I need to repot several times since I don’t have much space indoors otherwise.

@Milkyway_03, Their current pots are small, so I would repot soon, directly into their final pot. The clock is ticking once an auto germinates, and it will go into flower after a set number of days no matter what you do. It's, therefore, important to grow the plant as much as possible before flowering. Transplanting can sometimes cause a shock, resulting in a slower growth period, meaning a smaller plant with a lower yield. Stressing an auto into premature flowering during a transplant is also possible. Again this means a smaller plant with a lower yield. I'm not saying you can't repot multiple times, many people successfully do, but you are less likely to have a problem by planting directly into the final pot.
