These Clones are the end result of my hunt for a Mother out of a packet of Serious Seeds Bubblegum Regulars.
I planted three seeds towards the end of last year and one was a female.
I grew the female out so that it was big enough to take some clones.
These 8 are those clones. At this point they’ve had around 6 weeks of veg.
Really looking forward to this grow, until next time 🌱💚
Wish I could say I was happy, but I’m slightly concerned. Noticed some tip curling and leaf discolouration on a couple of the plants. Could be from the Canna Boost I’ve added to their feed, il have to keep a closer eye on them and flush if needed.
Why do certain plants have to be so difficult?!
I stripped off all the leaves that were affected and then some, they needed a defoliation session.
Have to be more vigilant in the future and keep a closer eye on things, until next time 🌱💚
Removed a few leaves here and there, noticed a bit of moisture building on the leaves as they were overlapping.
Still seeing some signs of deficiencies, might give them all a straight water feed on their next watering.
Things are t looking too bad, but it’s definitely been a difficult girl to work with.
Until next time 🌱💚
🤦♂️ they’ve not been so straightforward these Bubblegum’s. They’re proving to be quite a nuisance, but I suppose it’s all part of the experience.
Two or Three of the Bubblegum’s appear to be suffering from nutrient lockout, they don’t look healthy, that’s been clear for over a week now.
I’ve flushed the plants that appear to be suffering the worst, probably should have done them all, but didn’t have enough water to hand.
I’ll continue to observe, hopefully I’ll see an improvement in the next week.
The other plants have been given their normal feed, plus some added P/K Boost at 1ml/ltr. This may cause some problems, but il just have to flush my problems away with plenty of PH’d water 🤦♂️
Don’t think il be running this particular Bubblegum again, too many issues.
Continuing to pack on weight!
Giving them one last week of nutrients then I’m going to start their flush.
Lovely sweet Bubblegum aroma whenever they are disturbed, hoping to see them swell up in these last few weeks.
Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚
Turned out well in the end, but gave me a lot of problems down the line.
Struggled to keep her happy through the vegetation period, never really figured out what was bothering her so much, the light or the nutrients.-
She was harvested on the 16/05, I removed all the large fan leaves and any other leaf with a visible stalk, then cut her into branches. I hung them in my drying tent, they dried for 8 days in an environment that was kept at around 55RH and the temperature stayed around 20*C.
I gave her a final manicure then got it all together and weighed it for a final yield.
It felt weird weighing it as I’m not usually that interested, but I ended up with around 14 ounces of big solid buds.
They don’t smelll a lot like Bubblegum, but they do smell sweet. Hoping the cure brings out more of the Bubblegum taste.
I’m going to do a smoke update in three weeks time.
I’d like to thank everyone who has had a look, liked or commented on this diary, I hope it has been helpful.
I wont be running this particular Bubblegum again, but I’ve still got a good few seeds left to find a better phenotype, so you may see me do another attempt in the future.
Until next time 🌱💚
@@resimax,
Out of everything I have going at the moment, these are the ones I’m looking forward to the least 😒, they’ve caused me nothing but trouble and I’ll be glad to see the back of them!
Still to look at them, they don’t look too bad 🤷♂️
@SeriousSeeds,
Got a Strawberry AK and a Warlock CBD to try yet, excited for when I get round to growing these 🌱💚
Chuck some free Seeds my way and il do you a diary or two 👌🌱💚
Thanks man, looking forward to not having to battle the heat this summer.
Summertime was always a nightmare when I ran hps. I’d be up in the low to mid 30’s (Celsius) with no way of bringing it down.
I don’t think I’d ever go back to running hps after using Led’s
