First Grow Afghani Bullrider

You can definitely see that she is growing weird from hot soil, temp flux, and humidity flux.

Still growing funky, but she's growing!

She finally got her roots planted firmly and seems to be growing much better now.

Started LST since she was growing pretty close together and bushy. Probably shouldn't have since it's my first grow ever, but live and learn.

Preflower started and I started noticing yellow tips. She definitely was growing strong here.

Roots are solidly in the water reservoir of the Octopot and growth has exploded.

Removed the garden wire and let her start really growing upward again. She got super dense in the middle, but looked pretty healthy!

Saw a few leaves with yellow spots and panicked with a pretty heavy defoliation. Shoulda waited and asked around. Oh well!

Continued again with the defoliation when I saw more yellow spotted leaves. She's starting to fill in with buds really well.

She started filling in her branches more and putting on weight. I started checking trichomes at the end of the week, but she was still pretty clear.

Trichomes are developing nicely on her buds and she's putting on extra weight to them. I was really happy with her progress.

Had a super busy week and not much time to spend in the tent. Shoulda been paying more attention. You'll see why I say that next week.

Those yellow spots spread. Had horrible CalMag deficiency and it was too late to fix them. Ruined the look of the sugar leaves, but the buds finished out beautifully. Some nice purples setting in among the green and orange. Trichomes checked out at around 25-30% amber. Time to harvest!

My final weights were 7.5 ounces useable material which got turned into 6 ounces trimmed buds and 1.5 ounces trim which I have turned into a little over 2g dry sift plus using the leftover trim for infusions and balms. I'll be growing another Afghani Bullrider plant shortly after my next grow. I'm already excited for how much my next one will be once I get some better practice with techniques.
