Fed her 10tbsp of craft blend as well as another compost tea. I think this may be the last feeding as I've only got another 3 weeks to go. She's continuing to fill out nicely and her buds are fattening up with new pistils growing out all over. She's developing good frost, although not as much frost as the Lemon Orange. She looks like she will need another 3 weeks unlike the Lemon Orange which looks closer to being finished. I plan on harvesting both plants at the same time, so the Lemon may have to go an extra week which is okay. I have not looked at her trichomes yet as its still a bit early. Her nugs seem to have average density, however she is producing buds down the entire length of her stems. She will definitely be a decent yielder. Her aroma is still pretty weak unfortunately though and I'm assuming that she will be this way at harvest. If she hasn't developed a super strong smell yet, she probably won't in the next three weeks. Pinching the sugar leaves and smelling the fingers I get a very muted and weak smell. Its almost like a lemon funk mixed with a tennis ball or something. Not nearly as aromatic as the Lemon Orange. I am a bit disappointed with the aroma but aroma isn't everything, so hopefully she turns out to be a good smoke. I guess we will find out after harvest. 😀 Nothing wrong with the plant other than there are a few fan leaves dying off towards the bottom of the canopy. This is fine as it allows more air and light to the bottom. I should really take more leaves off a bit more aggressively as she is still very bushy and there are many fan leaves blocking airflow and light towards the middle and bottom of the plant. I'm not too worried about budrot for the Lemon Orange but the Chemdog D is definitely at a higher risk due to how bushy she is. Temps have risen in the tent this week, topping around 85f. I would turn the de-humidifier off but if I do I get above 60% RH which is a big no-no. I really, REALLY don't want temps to be that high, but its a necessary evil to complete this grow. One day I'll build out a proper lung room with proper climate control but for now this will have to do. 😀 I'm going to say that this grow is a success. Hopefully this statement isn't premature as I've still got a few weeks left, but I should be fine (crossing my fingers for no mold). Definitely love this style of organic growing and I'm going to continue to do it from now on. See you next week for the last few weeks of the grow. 👍

What are you thoughts on the strange coloration and twisted growth on my Chemdog D's leaves? It looks like Tobacco Mosaic Virus but I'm 99% sure its not that. I am certain it is just genetics but would love to hear some opinions, especially if you've grown similar genetics.

I have been told that Chem lineage is known for having this discoloration. There are also other mosaic viruses besides TMV that could be the culprit

I run by humidifier with the calcium deposits in my water as well I think I just get lucky I don’t get the white specs…also very meticulous about cleaning all of my stuff. My issue is holding humidity even with a humidifier it’s so dry here been around 20% can only get my tent up to around 31-34…max 40% in these cold false Illinois winters. Girls are growing pretty damn good and I got the same temps. You should be good I think 👍🏼

@BeiingBreeziie, Yeah, the dust gets over everything: the walls of the tent, the wires, inside the clip fans, the plants etc so I just gave up on it. Don't feel like purchasing gallons of distilled water so I'll have to wait until I get an evaporative humidifier to replace my ultrasonic humidifier with. Its a bit of a bummer, but the plants seem to be doing just fine. 😀 The winters here are very dry and the summers are very wet, so I'll be having the opposite issue where I live very soon. Thanks for the comment and good luck!

@Brasco, Yeah, no problems really with her the whole grow! Glad it wasn't anything serious as she was a killer when finished! I would like to learn more about the Chemdog D's lineage and quirks but its seems like there's either conflicting or not enough information out there publicly. Thanks for the confirmation though friend.

I could be wrong but your leaves look like signs of sickness / virus which usually is in genetics or poor grow environment and lately 90% of the time it’s the breeders handing out infected seeds. With virus the spots / markings on leaves will over lap the stems & veins. Where a deficiency it skips over the stems and veins

@BeiingBreeziie, That's what I initially thought, but it doesn't seem that the symptoms are spreading to my other plant in the same tent. I was under the impression that viruses only really spread through clones so its worrying that seeds can do it as well. I'm pretty sure its just a mutation as I've read S1s are prone to mutation and I hope I'm right. Gunna have the clean the tent really good after harvest 😀. Thanks for the kind words as well.

Everything you seem to be doing is excellent! So I blame genetics/ breeder not caring / catching it
