If you have a quality soil that is high in fertilizer you should be fine for about a month . If not just keep an eye for b at deficiencies. You may need to start feeding around the 2 week mark but keep it very light. I typically go 1,1,1, for my first feed then i work up to half strength of what is recommended. When it’s time to flower i go up to 3/4 strength but no higher. During veg i feed every 3rd watering. So if your anything similar youre feed day should have 200-300 ppm. (At your current stage) check a ppm chart for other growth stages.

Lol you just couldn’t wait huh? I know when you first start out it’s hard to just sit back and leave them alone you just always want to do something to help the plant grow And you end up hurting them more then anything. I was the same exact way when i started, we all are. Like i said before the ocean Forrest should get you almost all the way through veg unless you plan on vegging for a long time. I’m not sure what nutes you are using but you should start at the transition phase and start at 1/4 strength then work your way up 1/4 at a time. Most nute lines feeding charts are way to high. As far as bouncing back all you can do is give her pure water and wait, she should be okay in a couple days to a week.

When I water my soil it begins to run off very quickly, I thought this meant that they were significantly watered but something didnt seam right so I looked and found a lot of the soil was still dry. What am I doing wrong?

So when i first started growing i would just pour water into my plants with a watering jug and i noticed alot of the water just slid right down the top surface of the soil and i also had dry spots even with 20% runoff. So i learned two ways to fix that and that both involve buying a 1 gallon pump sprayer. First off when the soil drys out the top layer forms a surface tension so use the mist setting on your sprayer to wet the whole top surface then you can switch it to a steady stream and it will penetrate right through everywhere. Number 2 take your time, don’t just dump the water in all at once. Soil likes to drink slow. Start in the center and then work your way to the outside perimeter
