The seedling is doing well having just shed its shell two days ago. It's a bit colder than I want but I'm getting a heater for the tent by next week. The plant is in Coco Loco, by Fox Farms, with mycorrhizae added for increased root development. it has been just under a week since it was put into the growing medium.
So far the plant is chugging along, I got a heater in the room to control the temp better. It's now started to grow past it's first set of fan leaves. Unfortunately I over watered, and am now waiting for the plant to recover to water again. Other than that the roots look healthy and the plant will continue to grow.

I transplanted the plant into a 1-gallon pot. This was somewhat earlier than I wanted, but the plant had already started growing through the bottom of the cup. I prefer a denser root ball, but the plant is happy and healthy. I mixed Dr.Earth's 4-4-4 and 4-6-3 dry fertilizers, and worm castings in the Mother Earth Coco Peat that I used in my indoor grow. This filled out the rest of the 1-gallon pot to give the plant nutrient-dense soil to grow into. I moistened the soil and let it sit for most of the day. I then transplanted it right around an hour before the lights turned off to stress the plant as little as possible. It's since been doing great and showed almost no stress the next lights on.
The plant has been speeding up in growth as it's gotten larger. I added a 1/4 tsp of Opti Veg, and a tbsp of Craft Blend with 2 tbsp of worm castings as a top dress. I watered directly after using Thrive Yah-Whey, Mycrobe Complete, with Jay Plantspeaker 20 Quillaja Extract. The plant has been doing great since and has been healthy the whole time.
The plant has continued to do well growing consistently and is ready to be topped in the next few days. I've just been watering with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja Extract and Thrive probiotic in a ratio of 1/8tsp and 1oz to a gallon respectively. The plant's lowers are already reaching up close to poking out, so I'm hoping after I top the plant it'll be pretty uniform across the plant. Overall similar to when I grew Black Sugar before the plant's leaves are absolutely massive, and it's growing far stubbier and bushier than the plants I've started for my indoor grow.
I topped the plant two days ago and it has shown little signs of stress. I have added an auto-watering base from AC-Infinity to make the watering process more manageable and ensure I am less likely to overwater. Due to the topping, the lowers have had time to grow upwards and start to show through past the massive fan leaves. I will likely transplant it into a 3-gallon pot before the plant goes outside, however, this won't happen for a couple of weeks. I'm hoping to put the plant outside midway through May to ensure the sun is up long enough to not push the plant into flower early. Overall, the plant is looking healthy and, hopefully, will lead to a good first outdoor season.
The plant started to show signs of a deficiency earlier in the week. Because of this, I added a large helping of worm castings to offset the deficiency in the coming weeks hopefully. Other than this the plant continues to grow and has ended up with three distinct tops. I plan on transplanting it into a 5-gallon pot before the next watering so the plant can stretch its roots in preparation for going outside in a few weeks.
I fell off from recording the plants progress for a while, and it's partly because I've not been doing a great deal since putting it outside. I put the plant outside at the end of May and it immediately took to the new environment. When it started to grow up about 2/3rds of the way up the supports in early July, I added two layers of trellis netting. The first of these nets I used to weave the branches through and create more tops, while the top trellis is mainly to add support as the plant continued to grow. It is now a few inches past the top most layer of netting and the entire time has been praying to the sun loving life. I added a layer of worm castings with Build-A-Soil Craft Blend added in to make sure the soil doesn't run out of nutrients. I've watered probably two to three times since moving, every time with Thrive Probiotics and Rootwise in the water. The plant has yet to begin flowering, and I'll be taking clones before hand for my indoor grow. Overall the plant is absolutely thriving with almost no intervention beyond bending a few branches.
The plant has has started to flower, and yet another week of not doing too much with the plant. I've been defoliating, removing any of the leaves close to the size of my hand every few days. This plant is loving life and I'm hoping to see actual buds start forming soon.
This week has mainly been focused on preparing the plant for the rest of flower. I've now completely stripped out the lower inside of the plant to increase airflow. Other than that I've continued to defoliate now focusing on any leaves blocking the remaining lower bud sights to promote bud growth, and even ripening later on. The buds have begun to actually form and there's white pistols shooting in every direction. I'm going to continue to slowly strip the plant of fan leaves as it creeps further into the flowering stage to continue to promote bud growth, and prevent any possible bud rot.
