Everything was on the up & up at the beginning of the week, until both units started to show signs of K deficiency. I caught it immediately. And I am not surprised as I was using up the last of my Gen H food micro and grow without bloom as I ran out and was waiting for my emerald harvest 3 part to arrive in the mail which it did mid week. So I changed out the rest with emerald harvest 3 part and a couple other products from canna and hydroguard. The next day the plants were not looking as happy or as perky as I would've hoped so I took a look in the res and noticed some gross sludge type shit growing around my roots at water level and in the bottom of the buckets resting on the bottom. I immediately washed out and changed both reservoirs and I came to the conclusion it was the RAW NPK silica powder I applied to both buckets. Not sure if I did it wrong or added to much but luckily I caught it before any real issues occurred. After this I just put in emerald harvest 3 part with a splash of cal mag and some hydroguard. That was yesterday morning and everything seems to be bouncing back just fine. I am adjusting the ph almost daily to keep it around 5.8. The roots were growing well until these deficiency occurred and then the silica powder incident so I am hopeful this week they will continue on an upward path. I am determined to see these through to the end as I just ultimately really want to learn hydroponics with some minor success. Thanks for stopping by catch ya next week!
Donkey smell
@grzegorzdelaurans, ehhh goodmorning pal. Dwc was going okay until I threw the plants out. I needed the room in my small ac infinity tent ecause my gorilla tent got overgrown with the 32 plants in there. So i took 5 purple trainwrecks moved them into the small tent and added scrog. I ordered a new 4x8 gorilla tent from indoor farmer it will be here Tuesday so i will not run into this problem on the next one.
