Lung room de'hu went down and it's been generally high humidity where I am so it's been a juggling act this past week. With that being said i'm wondering if she is looking a bit cabbagey, however this is my first bean from Herbies and first unbranded packaging so I will be honest I am slightly apprehensive and wait to have my doubts put at ease, hence choosing a strain that I am familiar with so I will know if it is what it was supposed to be..
If it was an option I would've binned this one by now, super dominant on the split and still cabbage like and slow. I am still not sure it is what it said it was supposed to be, more like slippery monkey than Gorilla Glue! Time will tell.
She's starting to sort herself out a bit now and showing her strain/genetics. I wouldn't say that she is particularly strong and would react badly to a miscalculation of food but she is healthy and wants to do well and grow me a forest of Gorillas.
Less cabbage like and showing her Gorilla genetics and shape more now, A definite shorty even taking into account the horizontal part of the lower main stem.
I wasn't going to top this one but had a bit of a whoopsie moment and so have re adjusted accordingly ish. Not pulling any punches with this one and if it's not where I want it now its off, as despite the slightly wanky looking start she's pretty robust to be fair! But I still can't shake the "not direct from source could be iffy" feeling but it does look Gorilla like just not strong form like you would expect, could've just been a wonky bean.
Now she has reached flower it is obvious that it would've been better to have waited for at least a couple weeks in to veg or more "then" start LST and thinning and a dedicated top rather than an accidental one. Her longer bits are very mailable whilst girthier bits are rock solid which makes turning over the longer tops less tentative.
