3 days in the paper towel, moved to soil only when it fully broke out of the shell as seen in the picture. This auto will be moved outdoors from indoors when the weather gets a little better.
One week has passed since germination, starting to get the 2nd set of leaf coming in. Still plant on keeping these indoors for a few weeks before putting her outside. 😎 Bit of a struggle to get a nice photo with HPS bulbs.
Start of week 2 and were getting the 3rd set of leafs, definitely the biggest of the 3 auto strains i have running atm. Don't expect much growth as i have the lights set to 10hours on for now as im gender testing a few regular seeds in the tent, Will try to move these autos outside when the nights get a little warmer. 😎
Had to do some handyman work this morning in the tent when i had to fix the fans that was making so so much noise... just needed some lubrication 😂
Week 3 for Moby Dick
Shes finally starting to take off, I think it took her a while to get used to the outdoor natural soil while starting out her baby roots. But hopefully from now on she will be okay.
Hope to see her take off the upcoming weeks.
Will definitely dig a whole in the pot to add just coco/new soil in the middle to get her started off quicker.
Week 4 for Moby dick,
She's finally starting to full herself together and getting some size, surprised how well she's doing for such low humidity conditions.
I wont be training this girl whatsoever for now anyway unless her bottom branches start to push harder with growth.
She's starting to show a few white hairs so i think from next week it will be pre flower time for her.
I did encounter some aphids with her, was checking all the leaves every 8 hours or so killing anything i could spot & after 3 days or so i seem to be able to get rid of the issue.🙏
Week 5 for Moby dick,
Wow really didn't expect this explosion of growth compared to last week, this plant really really push hard now.
Wasn't really on the cards to LST this girl but her lowers just started pushing so much i thought it would be a waste to not stretch her out bushy.
Also defoliated a few leaves that were blocking light from a few of the lower branches.
Am thinking of moving her outdoors very soon to care advantage of some outdoor sun.
We can also now say for sure she's in pre-flower throwing out so many white hairs. 😎
Very happy with how shes doing atm.
Week 6 for Moby Dick,
She was moved outdoors at the start of the week, shes been adjusting well besides the fact shes been having issues with aphids 😥 But shes been getting sprayed water every sun rise to keep them under control as well as me going in there & killing them when i can spot them every morning & evenings. Trying to get my hands on some pyrol products to clean her up nicely as well as clean up the outdoor space.
But wow look at her size... really looking forward to her coming out with some flowers😍
Week 7 for Moby dick by Fastbuds
Outdoor weather has been getting colder compared to last week, specially night time temps sometimes down to 10 degrees. But shes still pushing 😎 about 140cm tall atm & i think she will maybe add another 10/15cm to that😂 BIG GIRL
Aphid situation seems to be under control with me spraying her at sun rise & afternoon (only when shes in shade) Have ordered some products to clean up the space that will arrive monday & some plant products too incase the issue gets worse.
Very excited to see some flower production on her, finally getting some build up of white hairs going on here.
Week 8 for Moby Dick by fastbuds,
Been getting a few spiders webs here & there on this plant... i don't think its spider mites but staying on the look out encase it is. Aphid situation seems to be well handled ATM after i sprayed some organic pesticide on the plant & some much stronger stuff in the surrounding area like i mentioned i planned on doing on last weeks update. Been defoliation very little on this plant just the stuff making shade on the flower growth areas. 😎
Week 9 for Moby dick by fastbuds,
She was fed once last week at the start of the week with regulator by Aptus & FPJ too. Then the stress of the week it rained so she was just fed from that i guess😂 I did a tempt to place her indoors when it was raining heavy before night time but didnt catch her every time. I think shes going to be a long living auto😂 Because theres no way she will be done in the next 3weeks. Lets see if she proves me wrong
Week 10 for Moby dick by fastbuds,
She's finally starting to bulk up a little her flowers, but she's extremely leafy likely going to defoliate her again a bit because little worried about her main cola getting bud rot but no signs of that for now. But the weather definitely isn't helping that worry😂 I've also stopped praying her down in the mornings because of the high humidity i don't want to run into any issues. She's going to be a long living auto for sure... 14 weeks+ i reckon but maybe that will translate well to the final scale weight 😁
She was fed once this week with some FPJ, Regulator, Enzym+ & Topbooster by @aptus_portugal just to give it an extra boost!
Week 11 for Moby Dick by fastbuds
She's also starting to fill out quite nicely wayyyy too leafy for my liking.
Also caught a little caterpillar munching on a bud today glad i found her before she gives me bud rot 😂
Quite surprising how little water these girls drink... still only got fed once this week with a bit of (WCA) Water Soluble Calcium & (FFJ) Fermented fruit juice for its last few weeks of life now.
Got a few yellow leaves after feeding the WCA wonder if its related...
Week 12 for Moby Dick by fastbuds,
She's seems to be running out of food in her pot from the yellow leafing going on. Been giving her FFJ to finish her off. From the way she looks you'd say she's close to finishing but her actual buds don't look anywhere finished... Thinking of adding a little compost to the top soil to try give her extra food😇 She didn't handle the heat greatly.. got a few leaf's burnt but seemed to only be the yellow leaves.
Week 13 for Moby Dick by fastbuds,
She lost a lot of her foliage during the hot weather this week as i also think she ran out of food a little earlier than i wanted her to. At the start of the week i gave her a fairly heavy feeding & she gaining some colour back, but now im back to plain water as she comes to her finish. Actually glad so much foliage has fallen off going to be a lot of an easier trimming job 😂
She went for way longer than i thought! I really do think yeild wise she would have been a monster if she stayed under 18h of light instead of the 15h of light outdoors.
