Week 4 Overcast/Rainy/Colder
-Plants are growing slower due to cooler/cloudy weather
-#3 seems to thrive in this climate..at least better than the rest
-#4 Also adapting ok
-#1,2 show yellowing new growth added higher nutes all around
-#1 is doing better than #2
- Lower Shoots are developing well on all except #3
- Roots are popping out on some containers..will transfer one last time into buckets in about a week or so
-These plants are being toughened up with wind and colder temps
- Hoping these conditions won't stunt them
- Root zone hasn't dropped below 55° on the coldest days
- Bringing them in on really cold nights
- Can see the start of a preflower on a couple of them...hopefully I will know the sex of them by next week
-They receive 6-7 hrs direct sun on good days..also 10 hrs direct sun when I'm home to move them around the yard
- May is on its way and the temps and sunshine are steadily rising
Are you sure those are lady bug eggs. They don't look like the ladybug eggs I had. Unless it's the camera yours look very round. Mine looked elongated, a thin oval.
I built a little hut for my ladybugs. I put a little honey and a small bowl of water with paper towel in it so they didn't dround. I really don't think those are ladybug eggs. Seems to fast for them to lay eggs. Also when they lay eggs the ladybugs are huge. Twice the size of a regular lady.
That is 1 nice plant, she is sexting. Damn bugs can be a nightmare. This year I'm trying bug netting. Will see how it goes. The netting will also keep ladybugs in if i need them. Next year I'm putting all my plants under under the bug netting. Vegetables. I like the bucket trick to keep the netting up. Well good luck.
